That's true. Although keep in mind that it was Iglesias himself who opted out of his contract with the Marlins back on April 20th. Probably if he was patient then he would have eventually been called up. But I can understand from his point of view, after all his experience in MLB and he didn't get called up after Wendle got hurt at the beginning of the season. That was probably his last straw. I mean, I can understand where he is coming from. He's definitely earned the right to be a first choice for a chance to be called up. But well, he's gone and I doubt he's ever coming back. 😂

I don't understand what happened to Wendle this year unless his injury really has some lingering effects we don't know about. He had quality at bats almost all last year and I know we were all sad when he got injured last year because he was one of the few guys who didn't swing for the moon every time.
