July 4, 20233 yr Thankfully the Marlins only have to play the Braves 3 more games this season, in mid September and at home. If they make the playoffs, probably not playing the Braves in the first round. Just have to hope whoever the Braves play is good enough to get past them. 😂 In 2003 it was the Cubs. 🤣

Marlins score 15 runs and get their 50th win while still holding a playoff spot and Braves fans are coming out of everywhere to bring up the weekend results. Everyone knows and acknowledges that the Braves are exceptional. If anything the Marlins continued success is more proof of how great the Braves are. You would think their fans have no reason to berate the Marlins.

July 4, 20233 yr And some aren't just rubbing the sweep in our faces. Some are flat out saying the Marlins aren't good even thought they've pretty much won every time it's not vs Atlanta.Â

It must be because they see what the Marlins are doing to the rest of MLB and secretly fear them. So the best way to drown out those thoughts is to keep bringing up the sweep and their better record. The Braves keep winning but the Marlins keep winning as well. Braves fans are very aware of that. They know that if the Braves were to have a small 4-9 stretch it could significantly disrupt the standings in the NL East. 😂

We may be their only competition right now and they need to keep praying that the gap doesn't start to close.Â
