I don’t mind not using Robertson in a save situation because I don’t believe in the whole closer/set roles thing out of the pen.

But rechecking the box score, maybe Robertson shouldn’t have pitched at all. Nardi only threw 6 pitches.

To @Rydawg point prob saving nardi for next game. Robertson was a big name RP he was facing the bottom of the Doyer order he had to perform there. That bell play was pretty pathetic though

Agree with all of this.  If Robertson can't pitch to the bottom of the order, how was he going to do against Betts and Freeman?

I love what Bell has brought to the team offensively, but I wish we had a better defender there?

Also, you aren't going to win many games scoring 1 measly run.

I’m mad at Robertson. Guy was an All Star for the Mets and basically been good most of his career, but he sucks here and is ruining the season.

He’s already lost 2 games & it should’ve been 3 but the team came back in his other shitty outing.
