I’m waiting on the paperwork, but I should be moving into a new apartment in early February, so that’s positive.

As for the Marlins……I have nothing positive to say about the team - there’s not much worthy of it.

Sandy and Eury being back is nice but is just them auditioning for Bendick’s latest trade for people 18 years away.

I am positive that the with the current roster the Marlins have a 65% chance of losing 100+ games. In the event they trade Sandy that probability moves to 85.5%.

But on the bright side! I have a feeling that this is the year that @Admin will release his long awaited blog post on the history of Marlinsbaseball.com, @pollythewog will become a Mod, @Michael will quit whining so much and several MB.com legends such as Marlinslou, guitarpik and some other random legends we have forgot about will make cameo appearances this year.. mainly just to tell us.. “yeah just checking in to let you know I’m still not coming back to this forum.” 😂

For the first time in over 5 years I can actually watch the team this season. I know they’ll be DREADFUL, but my new apartment complex has cable built into the rent and I get Bally or whatever Fandool it’s called now. So even though they’ll be a dumpster fire I will get to watch the team I have always loved to hate, so I think that’s a positive for me.

I’m saying teams with expectations of competing don’t waste half of a lost season with a dude who clearly needed surgery sitting on the shelf just to decide he needs surgery right before spring training starts and have him miss the entire season. A good team makes that decision in June/July and gets him back by the all star break of the following year so he can contribute. They did the same shit with Eury. So my comment was that they’ve know since last year that they were punting this season anyway.
