Jacksonville (AAA) opens up in Nashville on Friday as well. Numerous prospects should be making their Jumbo Shrimp debuts for 2025.

Saw a lot of improvements on day one, but remember it is still going to be a long season and there will be a LOT of growing pains along the way.

Kameron Misner just hit a walk off homer to win it for the Rays in their opener.

Tough break for Pirates as Nick Gonzalez went on the injured list with a non-displaced ankle fracture. If you watched opening day he homered then had great difficulty rounding the bases and was immediately removed. Never like to see anyone injured regardless of who they play for.

The Pirates called up Emmanuel Valdez, who I confused with Emmanuel Rivera who played for the Marlins who I confused for Kent Emmanuel.

Oh and Kameron Misner just had a walk off homer on the first pitch of the bottom of the ninth to give the Rays their win on their opening day. It was former Marlin farmhand Misner's first homer.
