...you are joking right? Our lead RBI hitter, and our tied for lead home run hitter? Jeez, do we want to go into a drought again? 496540 If you havent figured it out, we are already in a drought. 11 consecutive losses vs last place teams 496548 That doesn't give us an excuse to take Cabs out of the lineup. 496550 Cabs should stop eating s*** and play better defense!!! :mad : 496554 I haven't seen him eating on the field. 496555

The Marlins should play Conine at LF, he seems to play better there than Cabrera and they should put Easley at first.

Lowell is a lot more valuable than Benitez. 493470 :mischief2 NO

Josh pitches well in big games. I also think he will pitch well. :notworthy

After last year, he is a bad pickup unless we can trade him soon.

Finally, the big trade everyone has been waiting for. :lol :lol :lol

Enc I feel the team could do without. :thumbdown Hopefully he will get traded ASAP. :thumbup

Trades can still be announced untill 4:45pm

According to ESPN trades can still be announced untill 4:45 pm

let's send them Castro for Choi back.? haha... i wish. 486830 They might be desperite enough to do that :lol

Charles Johnson has rejected a trade to the Dodgers, the Denver Post reports. Dodgers GM Paul DePodesta is now going to get a lot of criticism for trading Paul Lo Duca and not getting a veteran catcher back, but we're not so sure the team would have been better off with Johnson. They'll go with Dave Ross and Koyie Hill for now and maybe look to pick up a veteran next month. The Rockies have to be disappointed, although they would have had to pay the majority of what Johnson is still owed in order to trade him. Johnson might lose even more playing time after rejecting the deal. Jul. 31 - 4:00 pm et this means walker probably wont be coming to south florida 486821 Dodgers screwed themselves :lol

How do u think tonights line up will look ?? 486695 JP Castillo Lo Duca Lowell Cabrera Conine Easley or Harris Gonzo Burnett

http://www.denverpost.com/Stories/0,1413,3...2305143,00.html As the Rockies wait for catcher Charles Johnson to sign off on a deal to the Los Angeles Dodgers, the club revived a trade to send right fielder Admin Walker to the Florida Marlins. The Rockies would ship Walker to the Marlins for a major-league player, possibly from Florida's overcrowded outfield, and a minor-league prospect to help bridge the financial gap. Walker has a no-trade provision in his contract. On Thursday night he vetoed a trade to the Texas Rangers involving minor-league shortstop Ian Kinsler and pitcher Erik Thompson. Dont know if article has been posted :mischief2

I find it kinda funny how on the roster section of the official website they already have Mota and Lo Duca's picture with the marlins uniform on, but they don't have one for Encarnacion. I've gotta think that Enc will be shipped out before the deadline. 486539 They could have used last years picture. I agree with you I think he will be traded within the hour. :lol

I Doubt the reds just want to give dunn away... 486525 They might, just look at what the Dodgers did. Anyway we might still get Admin Walker. I dont see any remarks that the deal fell thru...according to espn

Abe and Enc might be traded for an outfielder. Maybe for Adam Dunn? :mischief2

IS that deal going to go down? I heard it tonight and would love to see it happen, even if we did lose Stokes. 485330 IMO a better trade would be Walker for Encarnacion, Nunez and Castro.

No one in the other thread mentioned anything about the Reds. After reading this I would much more prefer trading with the Reds than with the Dodgers. The Dodgers deal rumor is s*** for us (except for maybe the LoDuca Ishii deal). 483504 I agree the only good deal for us would be Penny for LoDuca and Ishii

he says as of noon today, the Marlins and Rox were $1mil and 1 relief pitcher away from making the deal not sure what that means but there's the scoop 481873 He also said the trade will involve Conine. I guess the trade will be Conine + reliever for Admin Walker.

The Marlins should fire third base coach Jeff Cox :thumbup There have been at least three plays in which he has made stupid decisions: 1 - Waving Cabrera home on a play in which he had no chance of making it. :banghead 2 - Not sending Choi on a play in which he had time to score. :mischief2 3 - And most recently he should have sent Harris, it seems to me that he had a chance to score. :mischief2

Team needs kick in the A$$

Lately Mckeon is screwing up.
