July 31, 200422 yr Treanor is def going down to the minors, and I assume Bump or Small goes down. Howard is another possibility, pending how our roster looks.
July 31, 200422 yr I think we will have 11 pitchers, I don't think they would send Koch down. Bump, Howard and Small will go to AAA. And now Mordecai gets more playing time in the infield and Harris and Easley play the OF instead of Nunez.

July 31, 200422 yr Including the LA, SD, and KC trades, the roster looks like this: C:Lo Duca, Red, Treanor IF:Castillo, Gonzalez, Lowell, Mordecai, Easley, Harris OF:Pierre, Enc, Cabrera, Conine (Cabs/Conine at first) SP:Beckett, Burnett, Pavano, Willis, Valdez RP:Manzanillo, Howard, Bump, Small, Seanez, Mota, Koch, Benitez, Perisho Thats a total of 27, 14 pitchers. Small and Treanor are pretty certain to be sent down. It looks like we need to send down another reliever for an outfielder.

July 31, 200422 yr I'd rather see Admin Sutton up here. Dillon has fallen off a little bit lately and the team needs left-handed help off the bench. Sutton continues to tear up AAA.

July 31, 200422 yr The bench is still has the same problems. No decent lefthander. No outfield depth. We have no lefthanded outfielders in the high minors.
July 31, 200422 yr I hate to say it but Treanor is gone for now, he'll be back in Sept. My guess is Small is gone again, this time for good. With the acquistion of Seanez, Bumper or Howard will go down too. I would like to see something done to create a roster spot for Aguila or Willingham to give some outfield depth. Realistically the best player to go is Lenny, but every time I start to rip about him not deserving a roster spot he does something to remain on the team.
