I think Yelich has been called up.
Lol hilarious but seriously according to Frisaro Yelich strained his abdominal muscles on a diving play That should not happen. The core needs to be strong to endure a long season in the MLB. Maybe this is a sign that Yelich isn't ready yet? Hopefully it's nothing serious because he needs to get at bats.

Strength and conditioning.
Not everyone can be built like a horse and be immune to injuries. No one is perfect like Solano. Who said Solano is perfect? I said he is one of our best hitters but take a look at the batting averages on this team. Anyone hitting 250 would be one of our best hitters. He is a 300 hitter last year and was on the rise when he got injured. His defense is rock solid. He doesn't have an injury history like Stanton and Lomo so I'm not quick to say his issue is conditioning plus he has a good solid build unlike Yelich or Brantly. Solano is a very good player that is cheap I never said he was perfect. Actually, he's terrible at defense, terrible at offense, has no speed and is negative WAR on the year. He will never be a .300 hitter again and his OPS is terrible. He's a singles slap hitter with bad defense and that's all he'll ever be. In other words, he's worthless, except for his exquisite physique. Wait, why am I responding..... again?!?! Ugh can't lay off the troll bait. I said he has a better body then most of the players on the team unlike the SKINNY guys like Brantly and cishek and doobs I NEVER said he has a EXCUISITE body. His defense is NOT terrible. Are you only judging by errors? His range is good and his arm is strong. And he isn't slow. He is a GOOD player with a GOOD body I never said he is EXCUISITE. Stop putting words on my mouth polliwog.

For those of you that attend the games
First, the thread title should be "For those of you who attend the games." Second, who cares? You may as well ask what his favorite brand of bubble gum is. Stupid "walk-up" tunes are of zero consequence and matter even less than uniform designs, if that's possible. Wow!!! People can't ask anything around here without the wolves coming out and getting their meat!!!! Aren't you so smart. Fixed. It's getting "their" meat. You're welcome. Thank you. Sorry I use the wrong one sometimes lol.

That post by ... Was way over the top. Why would it make you so mad that someone wants to know what song is playing when Brantly walks up? Are you being serious or was that a joke??? I wish I knew the name of the song so I could tell the OP what it is. Use your eye phone next time you go there is an app called sound hound that listens to the music and then tells you the name of the song in a few seconds.

Don't look now...
don't do that, you sound like a 10 year-old. if you don't have something to add to the discussion... Your right that was childish but I get frustrated with penguino. I understand that everybody has a different opinion and if someone disagrees with me I have to just deal with it. Hopefully coghlan keeps it up and we can try him at third base. That is what I wanted all along but he just doesn't have enough power to be a every day third basemen right now is what I'm afraid of. Maybe they can try and work on his strength.

Help me make a decision!
Wes Helms was not pretty good. In his prime he was mediocre. Are you going to argue with EVERYThiNG that I say???? He was pretty good and anybody who looks at the stats would agree do you even remember him??? Oh and the sky is blue do you want to tell me it is not? For anyone doubting that this douche is just trolling this place, here is your proof. Knock it off. Wes helms hit almost 300 off the bench on his career here and provided leadership to a young team. You just have certain players that you bash. You don't like ANY players on our roster!!! Why are you even a fan of this team??????

Not Taco Bell.... STRENGTH and CONDITIONING. Yelich is a monster in the stat box but he is to skinny to handle the abuse that the game of baseball puts on him in a whole season. These guys have got to get buffed up I was worried about this I told all of you and only some people take it seriously.

Can't take it anymore. See you guys in a few years. I can't blame you. I'd consider going on hiatus for awhile myself but that'd mean that the troll wins. This place hasn't been an intelligent place to discuss baseball much at all lately. It's been a circus. Maybe the sh*tty team brings out the worst in people, I don't know. What I don't understand is how you can't have a conversation without attacking people and trying to make everyone believe you have a supreme intelect over them. It's just a discussion. Why so you have to get all snippy at the other members especially me. You and spike must be BFF.

You are a complete moron. Oh so I guess you like pop squeak players that have arms and legs that are the size of there bats? In today's game you can not be unathletic and be a complete player. Cabrera and prince fielder are both fat and are very good hitters but neither of them can run and play abysmal defense. Hitting a baseball is the easiest part of the game. The strength you have to drive the ball separates the lead off table setters from the meat of the order hitters. And defense is more important now then ever. The game has changed alot. A player who was awesome in the 1940s or 1950s would not even be able to stick with a single A team now if you brought them in a time machine, and alot of the reason would be that they just aren't big and strong enough.

After an RBI triple the other day, he's hitting a whopping .080. There's a reason he's never been paid more than 1.7 mill/year. The new Wes Helms. Wes Helms actually had some respectable seasons thoughYeah Wes Helms was pretty good. Why bring him in to that mix?

Don't look now...
I just believe that if you tend to be more aggressive at the plate, you're going to put the ball IN PLAY more often. Please explain why putting the ball in play more often will result in more line drives as opposed to fly balls or ground balls. Neither you or Anonymous have been able to answer this. It's pretty easy for you to delete the rest of my post. I suggested that Coghlan has always had a knack for making contact. But there is a difference between simply getting the bat on the ball and squaring up on the ball and swinging with a line drive plane through the ball. The more aggressive you are, the more contact you're making, eventually you're going to start making GOOD contact on the ball (good = LINE DRIVES). As anonymous said, I'm going to bow out here as I guess it's just difficult to explain our opinions without BABlahblah stats. If you watch baseball, played baseball, I feel like you should have some kind of a grasp of what we're trying explain, at the very least. You don't see the rather large gap in your logic here? There is no logical basis in saying that attempting to make more contact (aggressiveness) or even actually making more contact will somehow result in better contact. How can you possibly draw the conclusion that by simply putting the ball in play more frequently you are going to be making better contact? It seems like you don't understand how a logical chain of causality works. Apparently many people reading this thread do, though. Oh your so smart. Can you please teach me everything you know about baseball so that I can be a number one expert like you smart man?

Trade Stanton, Seriously, Trade Stanton Now
That's my point the whole time. The job of the 1st and 2nd hitters is to become a catalyst-- a table setter for guys like Stanton to drive them in. That's why in the case of RISP, SLG is way more important than OBP. For a guy with prodigious power like Stanton, slugging under .500 with RISP is unacceptable. Agree 100 percent!!!!! Let the little guys walk all day. The opposing team will love for Stanton to walk 4 times a night. Joe Maddon wil tell you the same.. Best manager in the MLB. The opposing team would love for Stanton to walk 4 times a night? Well lucky for them they can do exactly that via the intentional walk and then they would be so happy!! But instead they must think, y'know Stanton is a free-swinger... if my pitcher gets ahead in the count we might be able to make Stanton get himself out by swinging at a strike 3 outside the strike zone. I like Stanton but yeah he does strike out alot.

Strength and conditioning.
Not everyone can go out there and look like mr universe and hit the ball a country mile but isn't it weird that we always have so many injuries and especially supposevly minor injuries that turn into 60 day DL trips? That and the fact that alot of our players (aside from the beefcake list) look like they could be working at Dairy Queen. Are you telling me that Greg dobbs looks like a professional athlete???? Maybe a golfer or a rugby player lol.

Strength and conditioning.
Well some of you might not be concerned but playing in this big ballpark we need middle of the order guys to drive the ball hard and far. The skinny guys are fine for getting on base and stealing bags but "beefcake" guys need to be in the batters box casting a shadow. And the catcher should be a rock hard stud that nobody wants to crash in to at home plate and make them think twice about trying to score. Brantly is a good player and I think he could be our catcher for a long time but he could use some conditioning. The whole team just looks out of shape with the exception of the guys I mentioned already.
