I agree with the whole Miami is another country thing. Any time you go north of Florida people are going to give you strange looks.
  2. What are all these blasphemies I'm hearing? None of those bands can top Zeppelin. Stairway to Heaven all the way.
  3. I don't think we will buy or trade anything. This team has so many problems right now any deadline trade wouldn't make a difference.
  4. This isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Are there still lines to get the iPhone?
  6. **BUMP** I saw the film, and all I have to say is that Moore raises many valid arguments concerning health care. I find it very disturbing how the UK, France, and even Cuba, can provide free healthcare for their citizens, while we, the richest country in the entire world, cannot. As a person who has healthcare, I was very appalled by the medical horror stories of many other people. It is easy for us that have healthcare to be satisfied with the current health system, but I just cannot bear to see our senior citizens working because they cannot afford to pay for their medications, to see people have to sell their homes to keep on living, or to even watch people die because they are neglected by the health insurance companies. I have to say the movie was very well made, and unlike his previous movies, it's not one of those right versus left debates, it's something that should get all of us thinking.

    Rocket, Rocket, Rocket!!! :notworthy
  8. I have also been through these discussions before, so I'm not going to get into it. I do agree with Albcuba, in that it is not valid to place Castro in the same category as Hitler. To do so is not only ignorant, but is also disrepectfully belittling to the plight of the Jews. There is simply no way that you can compare the brutal murder of six million people and the destruction of other nations to the revolution that took place in Cuba.
  9. He looks like he is on roids. Yes, I said it.
  10. Looks sharp :thumbup
  11. I've never liked Nickelback, but this page just hits it on the head.
  12. I respect Mike Lowell. AJ, however, is a totally different story. What a load of garbage.
  13. Can someone convince me to switch to this, from IE7. I already have tabbed browsing.
  14. He needs to shut up, now.
  15. The Marlins lead the league in the amount of times they have stuck out, a total of 550 times. The next team is the Devil Rays, at 483, almost a 70 strikeout difference. This is unacceptable. Strike outs are rally killers, and the worst way to get out. They can't keep this up. We make duds look like studs. Has the hitting coach not told them to shorten the swing and hit for contact with 2 strikes? Has Fredi told them to be aggressive and swing away with two strikes? I don't know. I want answers, and as far as I know, Bill Robinson left a long time ago. A double play is a much worse rally killer than a strikeout. A hit and run with less than 2 out where you hit a sharp line drive right at someone is a much worse rally killer. In fact, I can't think of any time when a strikeout is the worst type of out, unless the guy on base was running and gets thrown out. If bases are loaded, then a groundball or a flyball to the outfield could score a run, while a strike out does absolutely nothing. When the ball is hit, anything could happen, errors, bloops, infield hits, etc. This is what I mean.

He's given 2 earned runs in over 20 innings since April 27. He's dominant. LMAO, nice sig. Oh yeah...go Kevin Gregg!
  19. The best things in life are free... So is spam...
  20. That's good and all, but are we #1 in games won? No, so until that, meh. A few players don't carry a team.
  21. Just to show you some of the things Google Earth has caught so far: Here's the link to a guy peeing on the side of the road. The Naked People on Google Earth. Already a pretty infamous website. That's some stuff. Technolgy never ceases to amaze me.
  22. Yes, the team has looked good. I think we need to give Olivo Friday off, that way he gets extra rest. He's really been struggling at the plate. The Marlins would be closer to the Mets if they didn't lose all those games due to rookie mistakes.

  24. He keeps throwing that fastball over the plate he's gonna get rocked like a Fender.
