Anchorman 2
Veronica Corningstone: Excuse me. Ron Burgundy: What are you doing? Veronica Corningstone: I need this machine so I can watch a tape for a story. Ron Burgundy: I'm using the tape. I'm showing Jeffrey my Emmy tape. We are watching history. Veronica Corningstone: Mr. Burgundy, I'm a professional, and I would like to be able to do my job. Ron Burgundy: Big deal. I am very professional. Veronica Corningstone: Mr. Burgundy, you are acting like a baby. Ron Burgundy: I'm not a baby, I am a man. I am an anchorman. Veronica Corningstone: You are not a man. You are a big fat joke. Ron Burgundy: I'm a man who discovered the wheel and built the Eiffel Tower out of metal and brawn. That's what kind of man I am. You're just a woman with a small brain. With a brain a third the size of us. It's science.

I hated the first one... I really did. :thumbdown :thumbdown It would be so great if this happened. "Champ, I think I ate your chocolate squirrel."

Heavy Marlins talk on ESPN right now.
I read that A-Rod's owed 62 million over the next 4 years by the Yankees not 66, not that it really matters. This is all speculation on ESPN's part at this point. Do I think it could happen? Sure, but I would be shocked if it does. The Yankees would probably have to eat about half of his contract for us to even start thinking about a possible deal, and there are other teams that could probably give up more if we don't give up Willis, which would be a mistake in my opinion. I'm not sure I get that...explain. I'm not saying I wouldn't deal D-Train to get A-Rod I'm just saying that even with A-Rod, we're going to need Dontrelle to make a run at another World Series, because I really don't think all of our young starters are going to match the kind of years they had this season. I think a guy like Olsen could take a step forward, but I really don't see Johnson and Sanchez matching the kind of years they had in 2006. If they do, great, but we shouldn't count on them doing so. Also, taking into consideration that signing Miguel should be priority #1, and who knows what are financial situation will be in a couple years, if I were to guess I'd say it probably won't be good, so we have to be very careful if we were to make a deal like this.

UAW-Ford 500
Wow what a finish! Jr.'s leading on the last lap Johnson tries to make a move to take the lead and his teammate Brian Vickers hooks him into Earnhartdt, takes out both guys, and wins the race. It looked like a dirty move to me, it'll be interesting to see what NASCAR does about this.

The 2006 ALDS: New York Yankees VS. Detroit Tigers
Holy Crap Zumaya. He hit 103 twice.

Which Marlins caps do you own?
I've got the official 2003 WS hat, and the grey WS hat, I've also got an all teal hat that's signed by a bunch of players from the 2004 and 2005 seasons. I've also got an adjustable hat from when I was little that's signed by Jeff Conine and Charles Johnson.

Eric Byrnes and Vernon Wells

The 2006 NLDS: New York Mets VS. Los Angeles Dodgers

Girardi Fired, Gonzalez Hired
Grades so Far, during the press conference: Beinfest - D+ Loria - Absent Samson - Absent Hill - Not performing Fredi - A+ Can't really fault Beinfest, seems like Loria and Samson kinda left him out to dry on this one.

Girardi Fired, Gonzalez Hired
To anyone watching this right now, like Girardi or not, how can you not look at this scene and just go "God, we really look pathetic." This scene is almost surreal. That's the way I look at it. I actually wanted Gonzalez over Girardi last season but this really does make our organization look very bush league. If Beinfest and Girardi couldn't work together Girardi was the one to go, but it certainly could've been handled better.

Girardi Fired, Gonzalez Hired
lol, Beinfest is losing it.

Girardi Fired, Gonzalez Hired
Needless to say the explanation leaves a lot to be desired. It'd be nice for Loria to be there for this too.

NFL Week 3 Discussion
Man, I don't know if this is more of an indictment of the Texans than the Redskins (probably the Texans), but Brunell threw an NFL record 22 completions in a row. I can't remember which pre-game show it was, I think it was Fox, but they were blasting Brunell before the games. Good to see him have a good game even if it was against the Texans.

NFL Week 3 Discussion
Maurice Drew is a beast though. why did he get so many touches today? because Indy couldn't stop him. 100 yards rushing a couple catches, 1 for a TD, and a couple nice kick returns.

NFL Week 3 Discussion
STUPID F*CKING LEFTWICH!!! Jacksonville needs a QB bad. He played like utter and complete sh*t today. I can't believe we lost after dominating the first half the way we did. Maurice Drew is a beast though.
