It's really between Bush and Young..... Maurice Drew's numbers are just as good as Bush's with more than twice as many TDs. His yards per carry average is almost double Bush's also. Of course I'm a Jags homer so I hope Drew wins, but in all likelihood, I'd say Vince Young wins it. Especially if they finish with a .500 record.
  4. Jacksonville up 21-10 on Indy. Jags have 250 yards rushing in the first half.
  5. Nolasco isnt enough for Upton, imo. Yeah, but where are the DRays going to play Upton? I'm pretty sure we aren't the only team that would want Upton.
  6. I hate the Dolphins. I get the Dolphins-Pats, instead of the Jags biggest game of the year, against the Colts. :banghead :banghead :banghead that's funny. I want Fins-Pats but I get the Colts game. They used to show Jags games over Dolphin games here, but I guess they changed that.

  8. wow, a guy with a 4.20 ERA gets paid more money then the 2006 marlins combines.
  9. well it's been pretty apparent that money is not an issue for teams like the Cubs, Sox, and Yanks, so I wouldn't be surprised if he got something like a 1 year $10 million contract.
  10. I was listening to the local rock station and a guy called in about a police officer dressed an elf trying to catch speeders in Orlando, guess this was the guy. Pretty messed up in my opinion.
  11. Jacoby Ellsbury sounds pretty good. (This was posted in the Sun-Sent thread too) Scouting Report: Ellsbury was on of the best players in the NCAA in 2005. He is very fast, plays excellent defense, and has shown a great ability to get on base. Decent gap power for a centerfielder who projects as a lead-off hitter. Has often been compared to Johnny Damon. Also said to be a team leader. Ellsbury has few holes in his game and is capable of beating teams in a lot of ways. He has excellent makeup and instincts. His best tool is his speed, and it?s evident both on the bases and in center field, where he catches everything hit his way :thumbup . He has been clocked in 6.55 seconds over 60 yards. He has become more patient, rarely swings and misses and is comfortable hitting with two strikes. His style of play and physical appearance have drawn comparisons to Johnny Damon at a similar age, but scouts say Ellsbury has a better swing. They question whether he?ll grow into the same power, though http://sonsofsamhorn.net/index.php?showtopic=3387 OF Jacoby Ellsbury - The Red Sox top pick in the 2005 draft, Ellsbury was selected 23rd overall and made his pro debut with Lowell in the New York-Penn League. Ellsbury finished the year with a .317 batting average, 19 RBI and 23 stolen bases. Ellsbury also showed good plate discipline as well drawing 24 walks and striking out just 20 times. Ellsbury played at Oregon State University for three seasons and compiled a .368 batting average with 99 RBI, 16 homers and 56 stolen bases. Ellsbury holds the OSU record for career runs scored with 162 and also set the single season hit record with 86 in 2005. http://www.oursportscentral.com/services/r...ses/?id=3288083 (All from sonsofsamhorn.com) Jacoby sounds like what we need - CF'er with speed and OBP. Anyone have an idea what it would take to get him? I don't see Ellsbury as a lead-off batter in any way or form, just look as his K-BB ratio, he has excellent power We are talking a potential 3 spot hitter. This dude is just freakin awesome! Excellent power? no that's not Ellsbury, you must be thinking of someone else. He will be a great lead-off man though.
  12. One of the my favorite shows ever. Growing up, everyone said I looked like Fred Savage, and I guess I really did(i have pictures to prove it if anyone wants to see). Winnie was my alpha female growing up, good god was she hot. Loved that show. shows us, I'm curious now Winnie.. *dies* Oh great now I have to re-watch the last episode, it said they got married and had a kid, it never said winnie died, it said Kevin's father dies, that's the only person it mentions as dead. :| :lol
  13. Should have drafted him when we had the chance QFT He was the one guy I really wanted that year and we had at least 2 opportunities maybe 3, I can't remember, to draft him and chose not too.
  14. Dammit they only play in Viera once? That sucks big time.
  15. And yet we kept hearing all year how much better the AL was than the NL. and it was... but an american league team didnt the win the world series...so they couldnt have been that much better anything can happen in a 7-game series, especially in baseball, that proves nothing. Did you notice the interleague standings last year?

Shawn of the Dead owned so much.
  18. It's the same with baseball, I know the people of Omaha love it when LSU makes the CWS, because they always bring a huge following.
  19. can you say pyrotechnics...dave always does something to richard If that were true, i'm pretty sure they would have told Richard to sit back a little more. Did you see how close that was to his head? they were in that tray, didn't you see him talking about how he had no idea why that was there, and Dave automatically new what it was?
  20. lol, I forgot we still had Hutch. Hutch resents that Sorry I forgot Hutch was your boy 3 years ago.
  21. lol, I forgot we still had Hutch.
  22. Nice win for the Magic, the Heat played well though. lolz Better than they had in recent games at least.
  23. Nice win for the Magic, the Heat played well though.
