i know a lot of people who don't like the college game due to the metal bats - purists and such well, if they can't get past the metal bats that take away nothing from the games then I guess it's their loss then.

To the question of why it isnt as popular as other college sports: to me, metal bats take alot away from it. Explain to me how the metal bats have a negative effect on the games. That comment is ridiculous, they take nothing away from the game, and it's a shame that college baseball isn't more popular because year in and year out the CWS is one of the most exciting events in sports.

Pretty much the exact same way I feel. Kruk and Phillips are terrible, and I basically don't watch when those two are on the show, unless maybe if Gammons is there too. Hershiser is pretty good, but Kruk and Phillips pretty much cancel out any positives he brings to the show. I don't care what Dusty Baker thinks I forgot about him, he's even worse than Kruk and Phillips.
