  1. What you are accusing him of is tantamount to professional suicide. If he were ever to assume a personal vendetta against any player, organization etc.. He would be reduced to writing obituaries in the MooseJaw Saskatchuan Daily Bugle in no time flat. Get your facts straight Fishy - it's the Moose Jaw Times-Herald! http://www.mjtimes.sk.ca/ :w00t
  2. Perhaps Millar's high-jinx wasn't appreciated by all in the clubhouse? Could Alex's breakout year have something to do with the departure of Mr. Millar? Just a hunch. :whistle
  3. Arnie - what's the problem? Take delight in knowing that our catcher of the future is on the bench. If and when Pudge moves on Ramon will be able to step right in. Hopefully Redmond can be moved for some relief help. Castro could them assume the backup role full time. Consider it an "abundance of riches."
  4. Gammons just reflects what ever the current rumor mill is throwing out there. One night he says Lowell is retiring from baseball to go work in porn movies... I heard he will known as "Lowell the Pole." Any truth? :w00t
  5. Call me crazy, but I too feel we should hold onto DLee through the season. His potential is tantalizing and he is getting hot. I also love his defense.
  6. C'mon Ramp. Not cool. Check out Das' avatar tomorrow. :confused
  7. I'm going with Tony Saunders from the 97 World Champs. Saunders was the Brave killer - I think 3 of his victories that year were against those stinkin' Braves. :mischief2
  8. Shoot - I screwed that poll up. Sorry!
  9. Please feel free to vent and elaborate. My vote goes to Orlando Alzegary. Why is that guy so down on the Marlins? He is a complete A-hole. :thumbdown
  10. How about Luis & Castro to SD for Rondell White and some relief help? Projected Lineup Pierre DeRosa Pudge Lowell Palmiero Encarnacio White Gonzalez
  11. Interesting moves...I guess we could then move Luis for some bullpen help. How about to San Diego for Matt Herges and Jay Witasick? Moving Lee and Castillo could also open the door for signing Lowell to a long term deal. *A guy can dream, right?
  12. Ramp - thanks for providing some sanity to this board.
  13. No need to apologize, just open your eyes.
  14. $2.50 and a cycle of steroids.
  15. What's the point of a Phillie fan moderating a Marlin board?
  16. the d-rays are scrappy and pose a bigger threat against the complacent braves than the red sox. Good call moron - I'd much rather be playing the Red Sox than the Devil Rays!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :thumbdown
  17. I'd rather we sweep the Rays again and the Braves lose a couple in Boston! last year i don't think the braves lost against the red sox in the series. the d-rays are scrappy and pose a bigger threat against the complacent braves than the red sox. Congratulations CapeFish - You have made the most asinine post of the day. It will be hard for the rest of your cohorts to top this one. Keep up the great work!
  18. RedneckGator - your logic is flawed - the other teams are playing their natural rivals six times regardless of their positions in the standings - Seattle gets San Diego, Houston gets Texas, Philly gets Baltimore six times. We should be playing Tampa and Boston should be playing Atlanta this weekend.
  19. I'd rather we sweep the Rays again and the Braves lose a couple in Boston!
  20. Cmon now. We lucked out. The Rays suck. The Braves have to play one of the toughest teams in the AL. It aint fair. That's not the point. The rivalries series should remain the same each year. How about the Yankees - they get to place the last place Mets six times - talk about lucking out!
  21. It was done to help all the teams because the natural rivalries were terrible for all involved. What's wrong with the rivalries? Tampa and Florida makes perfect sense and the Atlanta Braves/Boston Braves connection isn't that far fetched. Who wouldn't want to see the Braves & Sox play again? It really seems like the Marlins are getting screwed big time. They don't even get to capitalize on the attendance boost from having the Sox play in South Florida. At least the Devil Dogs get the Braves in Tampa. I don't buy your argument Capefish.
  22. Why are we playing the Rex Sox tonight and not the Devil Rays? Aren't the Devil Rays our "natural" rivals? I don't get it - the Braves should be playing Boston tonight and we should be playing Tampa. What gives? :mischief2
  23. Ouch. Thanks for the update.

Wouldn't there be a problem with having horses running around the outfield???
