I'm 99% sure teams have a hotel where players can stay while playing at home. If I remember correctly someone told me they stay somewhere by the beach. Not too sure though.

I have long been of the opinion that the location, access, and parking issues (despite patchwork solutions), none of which will ever be fully remedied, will always disenfranchise spur-of-the-moment Broward, Palm Beach, and northern Dade fans, while southern Dade fans would never provide enough backfill. At this point, given the ideal conditions and recent team achievements with still less-than-stellar attendance, I see no reason to believe this isn't occurring, and I see nothing to refute that. The point is that if you watched that inning, it's pretty clear that he wasn't pitching any better than he had in other recent outings. The end result isn't necessarily that important, no matter what you say. He couldn't locate his curve for sh*t, and it seemed like the Padres hitters could easily read it out of his hand and knew when to sit on it. They were also making solid contact off of his fastball. I hate to admit this but I didn't stay up to watch the game. Love to do it but that dirty word work keeps happening. Did Ozzie do anything drastic for this game? Peterson in? I did hear he didn't move out Bell from the closer roll so obviously nothing different there. Petey came in as a pinch runner for Kearns and played left, allowed a ball to drop and get by him for a double on a sliding attempt in the 9th. Whatever, NBD. Ozzie pulled Bell out after 3 straight hits to open the 9th, Cishek came in and did some badass work. Had Gregor Blanco not bunted for a hit, I think Cishek could have gotten the save, but as it was ... not his fault that the run scored. Anyways, we got the lead in the 10th, and Cishek said to the Giants, "hush little baby, don't say a word" and slammed the door. Stuart Scott? Is that you?

I went to the game today. The stadium is amazing. I love everything about it. The green walls make it bright and unique. People who don't like the green either haven't been there or are too set in their ways. As I was eating my lunch I took this beautiful iPhone photo entitled "Picadillo with D-backs PB". Just to the left there is a seam where the roof sections join that was leaking badly. I'm not sure if they got it fixed or not as I left the area after feeding my face. It was delicious, BTW. Where did you get the piccadillo?
