May 19, 201214 yr Both Coghlan and Gaby are going to hit in New Orleans. Whether or not they hit in Miami is a completely separate issue.
May 19, 201214 yr Had to be done. Maybe this helps to light a fire under the team. As for Cogs, I'd rather see Petersen take LF for now and have LoMo at 1st. However, we don't know how much longer Bonifacio will be out, so expect to see Cogs playing some CF.

May 19, 201214 yr I don't think cogs is going to start. My guess is lomo 1b and Petey lf I bet Coghlan starts something like every other game (some platoon situation). The Marlins are giving Coghlan a pretty long leash, it seems. He'll get a bunch of starts.

May 19, 201214 yr Gaby defense has been great but something needed to be done. I hope that maybe a trade to bring in a bat happens because I don't want Coghlan, dobbs, or kearns starting full time.

May 20, 201214 yr CC's last 10 games performance in New Orleans : 14-for-43(.326) 4 doubles, 3 rbi, 4 bb, 6k, 2 sb, 0 cs. Not impressive. But it didn't look like total garbage. After LoMo move to 1st, we have a couple of option at LF. CC is not a definite solution, I know. But we have rare option on 1st, regardless of trade.
May 20, 201214 yr Why not go after Carlos Lee? Perfect guy. And won't cost much in prospects to get him. I bet the stros would take Gaby straight up, they are rebuilding. Maybe throw in a middle range prospect. Would want him wayyyyy more the Lind.
