FishFan24
Miami Suckers That name is already taken by all those who supported the building of the AAA :shifty And I really don't care where the thing gets built(Dade or Broward County) as long as the darn thing gets built! :mad :

mongoose
Wow! So many votes for the Hialeah Race Track.
MarlinsinPBC
right now, the Marlins attendance base is almost 20% from Palm Beach County even though they have the furthest travel distance. the closest point to the stadium is boca raton which is still almost 40 miles north of the stadium I know that all of you Miami people hate to admit it but the best site for all parties would be a stadium somewhere on the PBC/Broward County line. putting the team in miami alienates all of the PBC fan base because its so far away. plus all of the proposed miami sites are in unsafe areas, that are not the most easily accessable, and have very limited and very expensive parking just look how many empty seats you have at the AAA. we need a centrally located stadium that is fairly accessable to not only Miami-Dade County but also the fast growing northern palm beach county. they would get their best attendance there easily
MiRi
Honestly, I'd prefer the OB or the Race Track. But besides that, just stick the thing somewhere in South Florida for goodness sake!

And like I stated earlier, the city is giving FAU some $80 Million to build a dome/arena, so why can't they take that money, put the Marlins' $137 Mill in the pot, and the $60 Mill FAU is putting in (I believe) and you have $277 Mill right there. Believe me, people, Miami is hardly the only fanbase south Florida has. Palm Beach County may not be as populated, but there is a huge fan base here with a MUCH larger average income. John Henry wanted it in Boca, why not now?

Hollyberry
If I had to pick where the stadium would be I would pick Broward, Broward-Palm Beach Border or Palm Beach!! I think it is too unsafe to drive in downtown Miami at 11pm. I don't think peple want to get shot going to the games. Broward, + Palm Beach Counties are alot safer, wealthier and have more fans. If they put the stadium in Miami they are making a big mistake, because nobody in Palm Beach and North Broward will go because its too far. They will loose lots of fans. JMO!! Woah....can you say exaggeration? I have gone to concerts at AAA at night and have walked around the area and nothing has happened. There are cops everywhere directing traffic and keeping things in check. Plus, there are people walking around to get to their cars and the Metro Mover. CapeFish
I like Hialeah Park, closer to everyone in South Dade, but not much farther than PPS for those north. It has the land, is owned by the City of Hialeah, has a MetroRail station close by and has the parking lots for thousands. The neighborhood is great and baseball can flourish there. PSLMARLIN
I dont care where it is as long as there is a Tri rail station near or on the premisis, im coming from Port St. Lucie and wouldnt mind picking up the tri rail in WPB 45th st . station . ( by the way another proposed site for the marlins offered by Don King).
CapeFish
Hialeah Park is close to the Hialeah MetroRail station. Tri-Rail's website say take Tri-Rail to the Metro Tranfer Station and ride one station north to Hialeah's Metro station and walk to the Park. gobucks
I am shocked at the support for Hialeah park. I have heard the metrorail station is very close. (same block) It is soooooo far......

CapeFish
I like the plan and have never lived in Hialeah. Lived in Miami Lakes for 6 months, born at Hialeah Hospital, but never lived there and don't care to. Hialeah Park is an excellent location and Hialeah has voter approval to spend the money.
