January 6, 200521 yr Author Vlad Guerrero swung at more pitches out of the strike zone than any other player. Of course he connects on some of those. Vlad is a eyeball to ankles hitter, if he can see it he'll swing for it. It doesn't give the percentage of swing and misses but I would think Sea Bass would far exceed Mad Vlad in that category.

January 7, 200521 yr I truly believe if Alex had better discipline at the plate he could hit 30 homers a year, and hit around .270-.280, and of course get on base more. unfortunately I don't think we're going to see a drastic change any time soon.

I'm sure with Alex, Enc and even Cabs they probably would have rated fairly high.
January 7, 200521 yr Gonzalez DID hit .290 his rookie year, so you know it's possible that he has talent to hit for average. I just wish his on-base percentage could be higher than two times my weight.
