April 30, 200521 yr The guy pitched one and two-thirds innings tonight knowing (before the game started) "he" was the guy Jack entrusted tonight's victory to and that Mota was injured. If Mota is out for more than a few days one has to assume Jones going to pitch exclusively in the closer role until either Mota returns or another closer is acquired.
