FutureGM
This is our team's 12th year of existence, and yet we still haven't had a single player in the HR Derby yet. I thought this would be the year, since we have Delgado and Cabrera.

Brandman316
VERY SOON with Cabrera!! I think either next year or the next. Once he makes i hell be there for a while!!
Mave
you'd have to think they'll pick abreu next year again to represent venezuela since he's the champ unless he has a terrible season next year by the ASB.

Michael
The Season Cabs hit 50 by the ASB 851754 next season it is.. 851776 *brings 1/4 of Babe Ruth, 1/4 of Josh Gibson, 1/4 of a robot, and 1/4 of an Android together* Put that behind Cabs..and he'll have 75 HR's in April
PBMarlin
It might have been this year if they hadn't changed the format. :thumbdown
Accord
Delgado will be in it next year. The only, and I mean ONLY reason he wasn't in it this year was because of Pudge and since Pudge is the hometown hero, he was automatically in, but he certainly won't be in it again and even if hes decided to, the ASG won't be in Detroit and of course MLB will want the power hitting lefty with 20 HR at the break as opposed to the contact hitting catcher with 5 HR.. Delgado will be in it guys, don't worry.
strandedx02
Anyone who saw Cabs tonight...dude is begging to be in the Derby next year. I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up taking a bat to Abreu to make sure he got picked next season.
PBMarlin
I thought Cabs would have been the better choice for Venezuela. But you sure can't argue with the incredible performance Abreu put on tonight. That was incredible to watch.
Fishfan79
abreau gets the auto bid from Ven next year Look for Delgado next year from Puerto Rico! Go Carlos! you got spurned from the all star game so get pissed and take it out in the second half on that ball!

MarlinsFan253
Well, if they stick with the current system. We could pick up a player from Iceland or something and I am sure he will be invited to the homerun derby.
