you'd have to think they'll pick abreu next year again to represent venezuela since he's the champ unless he has a terrible season next year by the ASB.

Delgado will be in it next year. The only, and I mean ONLY reason he wasn't in it this year was because of Pudge and since Pudge is the hometown hero, he was automatically in, but he certainly won't be in it again and even if hes decided to, the ASG won't be in Detroit and of course MLB will want the power hitting lefty with 20 HR at the break as opposed to the contact hitting catcher with 5 HR..

 

Delgado will be in it guys, don't worry.

Anyone who saw Cabs tonight...dude is begging to be in the Derby next year. I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up taking a bat to Abreu to make sure he got picked next season.

I thought Cabs would have been the better choice for Venezuela.

 

But you sure can't argue with the incredible performance Abreu put on tonight. That was incredible to watch.
