PBMarlin
That was so much fun to watch. It's probably good for only once a year though. You can be teams will bet looking for it in the future.
BullDurham
ODL, Ozzie Guillen fell for it THREE TIMES, and TWICE in a single season? So THAT'S why the Marlins didn't pull one off in 2003.
Foladar
Anyone know if it's been shown on Sportscenter yet?

FishFan24
It was a beautiful play used at the perfect moment. You won't be able to get away with it too many times, but it was definately needed tonight to get the momentum back on our side. :thumbup

TSwift25
One of the most awesome things I have ever witnessed in person. And when you consider what that runner represented, it was beyond huge.
xoxo
ESPN just showed it again, and this time they showed Todd Jones looked at Mikey and then walked to talk to Matt and then walked around the mount. and then BAM! :tv_happy
Accord
I had never seen that before other than the movie "Rookie of the Year" That was great, I can't believe it. 898214 Mike did it last season and also Derrek Lee pulled it off in 2003. I was there tonight, when Lowell was walking back to the dugout he tipped his hat with this really funny smirk on his face and everyone was laughing, it was great :lol . D-Train35
Just found this... Hidden Ball Trick Its now happened 232 times since 1876, and Mike Lowell did it last. 898381 That...is amazing! 232 times out of MILLIONS of games. Hardly anything rarer. And in such a big spot too! I do not remember ever seeing it in my life, but then again I didn't see that game against the Spos last year. I do remember Lowell's triple play in Montreal a few years back. I wonder how many of those have been made in MLB history.
JPMarlin
was at the game tonight, no one realized it until he pulled it off what was going on myself included. Good job Mikey for heads up thinking in a crucial situation. :thumbup

buccanes
it was weird to watch it live on tv, because after the throw came in from cabs they went and focused on jones. While they were focused on jones you just hear the crowd cheer, and then did the cameras catch on. all i have to say is good thing for multiple cameras focusing on different things, or else no one would have caught it

According to that website, the last hidden ball trick besides Lowell's recent two, was 1999 by JT Snow :plain
