Posted September 22, 200519 yr I'm not here to rally the troops...not at all... While our playoff hopes are slim to none (and slim just packed his bags)...I wanna remind those who are still left on this board that we are Marlin FANS... Starting tomorrow, with an amazing Willis v Martinez pitching matchup...we have ten more games to watch, and hopefully enjoy...why? Not cause of our diminished playoff hopes...but because we love baseball, and we love the Marlins...OUR Marlins... My point is, in a little over 6 weeks...there will be NO baseball at all...and we may just start missing it before we know it...Enjoy these last few games because its all we have until March... I hope to see plenty of you at our last homestand as well... Finish strong...Go Marlins! :thumbup
September 22, 200519 yr We can still cheer on Dontrelle and hope he wins the Cy Young! He's not winning the Cy Young if the Marlins don't make the playoffs. It'll go to Carpenter.

September 22, 200519 yr No matter what... I'll be there on the final game of the season, right behind the Marlins dugout, for the curtain call. And, just like last year, I will be standing and applauding. No matter what.
September 22, 200519 yr :arms very true!! *wore my Marlins jersey last night while running errands* :mischief
September 22, 200519 yr I will also be at all the home games for the remainder of the season....I'll be the one crying on Sunday in 249........
September 22, 200519 yr I will also be at all the home games for the remainder of the season....I'll be the one crying on Sunday in 249........ I went to the last game at home last year and I started to cry. In a few months a new season will start I cant wait.
September 22, 200519 yr I'll be at the last homestand too. *sigh* I am gonna miss these guys. Same here... I am going to miss AJ, Gonzo (I wonder if we will see him play in a Marlins uni again :crying , Encar (Gotta love those K's and pop ups), JP and his noodle arm :crying ::sigh::
September 22, 200519 yr I'm going to try to get one more game this year, preferably the last home game, to show my appreciation for the effort put up by some members this year.
September 22, 200519 yr You know what no one has mentioned is that these last few games we've been playing with half of our roster hurt. Dookie, castillo, gonzo, easley, and now cabrera. The guys hav eplayed hard and unfortunately its painful for many of us now that the playoffs are pretty much out of reach. However, we have another goal, keep winning so we cna finish 2nd in the division. We're only 2 games behind philly. Lets fight to the end

Last season, 2nd Place came down to the final series, and the Phillies won. It's payback time.
September 23, 200519 yr I'm just going to enjoy every win the Marlins get and hope they whoop up on Atlanta in the coming series.
September 23, 200519 yr I think i'm going to hang out at Connie's grill after Oct. I might get to see Jones, JP, AJ...and of course Connie there. :lol
September 23, 200519 yr I cant wait till spring training. Spring training is my favorite time of year to watch baseball. Living in S. FL we have access to a lot of ST baseball. If you ever get a chance go to ROger Dean and check out a Marlins game and definately go to Vero Beach and watch the Dodgers, its an amazing place. As for this season...Im still proud of the team...our #1 FA was smasshing the ball down the stretch doing his part...DTrain is giving us the best performence EVER by a Marlins pitcher...but the Spring brings a New Hope. If anyway possible SWEEP THE BRAVES
