The Incredible Hulk Remake

Featured Replies

Hulk was probably the WORST movie Marvel has put out since they started adapting their comics into big screen movies on a regular basis. Even DareDevil was better than Hulk. It was too serious, too boring. Not to mention about 45 minutes longer than it needed to be. I'm glad that they're giving it another shot with an entirely new cast.

I agree with you, however I think they should make a compeletly different movie rather than a remake.

The thing that gives me hope is that of all the Marvel properties, Hulk probably makes for the best transition to the big-screen.

I hope they get this one right.

And I hope they don't put nipples on his suit.

Whoops, wrong movie

Really didnt care that much about it until I heard Edward Norton was in it.. effin sweet. If they can make it something like batman beings, thatd be freakin awesome

Well, it's almost completely impossible that they could do worse than Ang Lee's Hulk...

The last one was awful, and parts made no sense whatsoever. I'm not sure Ang Lee will ever be given a big budget to direct a film again thanks to that stinker.

I think one downside to the Hulk franchise is the lack of interesting villains, which just about every other Marvel franchise has. I don't think it's a coincidence that The Hulk appeared frequently in Marvel crossovers over the years.

I saw the Eric Bana Hulk and walked out of the theater it was that bad...overproduced and terrible.

I am anxiously optimistic about this, the trailers look awesome. On paper it looks liek it could be good -- a good leading man in Ed Norton (I think he rides on the popularity of some of his earlier work but is a pretty good actor), Live Tyler is massively hot, and Tim Roth is Emil Blonsky/the Abomination and he rocks sh*t.

Having William Hurt involved also helps.

If you havent seen it, the Director's cut makes Daredevil a better film.

I am looking forward to a Captain America movie as long as they keep him in WWII fighting Nazis and kicking some Red Skull ass. The abomination Cap movie from 1990 was just plain sh*t.

I was under the impression that this is not a remake. I think they are moving along with the story and not rehashing his origin. I could be wrong though.

the first one released like 4 years ago really sucked, hopefully this is better

All it was was a dude with severe anger management problems... and thats it.

this movie was actually pretty damn good. i came in with low expectations, but was very entertained, watching this movie is haveing a good time......

the problem is... its not fair to compare it with Iron Man.... cuz the movie blew alot people away... and RDJ murdered the roll of Tony Stark, he was downright brilliant.... so plz lets not even compare the two...

anyways the action in this movie very good... but its the hulk what do you expect?

seriously go watch the movie its AWOSOME and there is little treat in the end for everyone

Because I have been an avid comic reader for over 15 years. I greatly enjoy watching a "true life" representation of the stories I have loved for years. And, most of these flicks are 10x better than the dreck that most studios are pumping out these days.

Why do people keep paying to see these damn superhero movies?!

Because they're great. :)

We just saw it. It was a much much better than the last one. Ed Norton is awesome. Love him. That ending was pretty cool too. ;)

Saw it last night, and it was better than I expected. It was also 100x better than Ang Lee's disaster of a film, which is one of my least-favorite superhero movies ever.

By the way, am I the only one who looks forward to Stan Lee's cameos in the Marvel movies? Love him. He's awesome.

Thought the movie was fun to watch. Definitely not as good as Iron Man, but it was way better than the other recent Hulk movie.

Nope- I do too. I point vigorously to the screen and say, "Look, it's him! it's Him!"

LOL!! Me too!

It was a fun movie. I won't say it's great, but at least it's much faster-paced than Ang Lee's "Hulk".

"Iron Man" is much better, though.

Speaking of which...

I hate the fact that the "surprise" cameo by Stark at the end was spoiled by the most recent TV trailer. Shame on whichever studio exec green-lighted the ad. :nono
