September 4, 200620 yr Just pointing out the only case I rememberd of someone actually wanting to do this trade. As for Uggla, when did he say that? I know alot of people werent happy about him being the starting 2B before the season, maybe the majority of this board. That can't be held against him if it was in that timeframe.

Considering I wanted to trade Vargas for him... Hate to say it, but those of us who weren't sold on Vargas were right. Too bad we didn't trade him when his value was high. I was more impressed with Olsen last year than Vargas even though Vargas pitched better.

He is impressive in his baseball knowledge and the baseball stats he researched were mind boggling. In this case Marlinslou was just wrong...Ohhh was he wrong! That happens sometimes when limited data is overanalyzed
