Who's fault was it why we did not make the playoffs in 2005?

Featured Replies

Where is the "why didn't we make the playoffs in 1996 poll?"

1996 - best slogan ever - "Locked Cocked and Ready"

In a 162 game season, it's hard to just point at one person/part of the game you can blame and say "THAT'S the reason we didn't make it." Just say it's a combination of things, and move on.

MIKE LOWELL = GREATEST MARLIN EVER

(I thought this was a double topic, and thought it said 2006, so i voted lowell thinking it was the joke option, oops!)

We cannot blame Lowell. Mikey will always be remembered as the best Marlin ever. If it was not cause of Lowell we would not have a World Series in 2003. Also Pierre had a horrible year plus there was a lot of injuries which included: Paul Lo Duca

Luis Castillo

Alex Gonzalez

Juan Encarnacion

Beckett

Of all the scapegosts/excuses listed my favorite one not mentioned is AJ. He quit on the team, the manager and the fans. I would also agree that team had "NO Marbles".

Carlos Delgado for not being a team/clubhouse leader.

does he still refuse to stand during god bless america? classy guy.
