October 6, 200322 yr I heard that Ordonez bought the little league team from his home country new equipment when he heard they had none. He is a good player and a nice guy.
October 6, 200322 yr I heard that Ordonez bought the little league team from his home country new equipment when he heard they had none. He is a good player and a nice guy. Thats right, Magglio is from Venezuela. His wife heard that the little league had barely enough equipment to make it. So his wife called Magglio and he right away sent them on a shopping spree. Yup, thats the kind of guy he is, a class act. Magglio Ordonez = The Best Right Fielder in Chicago!
October 6, 200322 yr I have complete confidence in the Marlins. They took care of the hated Tribe once. They just vanquished the Gain'ts (Flubs West). I don't see why they can't open up a can on the Evil Empire. I'm looking forward to it. GO FISH!!!
October 6, 200322 yr Ordonez is a monster and probably the most underrated player in baseball. Well, underrated's not the right word.... people know he's good, it's just that he gets very little national media attention. Meanwhile a guy like Jeter or Bernie Williams takes a dump and the media want to send it to the hall of fame. We're gonna give Sosa absolute hell for Cork-gate.
October 6, 200322 yr If you guys can get the crowd to start chanting CORKY everytime he comes up to bat, that would be awesome!
October 6, 200322 yr If you guys can get the crowd to start chanting CORKY everytime he comes up to bat, that would be awesome! If someone in the audio dept. at PPS hates the Cubs...they will put it on the board as coming to bat... Sammy "Corky" Sosa. They did it for Admin Jones, Jr. when he had the Chipper issue.
October 6, 200322 yr When you guys beat the Giants the other day, more than one Flubs fan I know said, "All the pieces are falling into place!" Let alone that the Marlins STILL had a better record than the Flubs in the regular season, and that it only took the Marlins four games to beat the Giants, a better team, IMO, than the Braves (who decided to play corpseball, but still managed to take the Flubs five). Ugh ... give 'em hell, Fish fans, give 'em hell.
October 6, 200322 yr I tell ya what Fish fans, you guys are OK with me. I was feeling really down in the dumps last night about the Flubs, but chatting with you guys today has really lifted my spirits. You guys know your baseball pretty darn well for being an expansion franchise (don't take that as a dig, just that's the stereotype), and I'm sort of living vicariously through you guys now. You've got two things which we Sox fans share ? a passion for winning and a hatred for the Flubs. Stand tall and proud, Fish. Beat the Flubs and you'll supplant the Brewers as my favorite NL team!
October 6, 200322 yr Another White Sox fan sending some major Marlin-backage down South Florida way. The fact that the White Sox have finished with a better record than the Grubs in something like 45 of the last 57 seasons makes the current situation a living nightmare for all of us Pale Hose fans. You guys have youth, enthusiasm, speed, and a pretty good-lookin' lineup--we'll be cheerin' for you all the way! Man, I always did look good in teal (no teal intended, WSI rooters--it's an inside joke). _________________________________ South Siders for a South Florida World Series
October 6, 200322 yr NO NO NO. Dont tell them to go to Wrigley, because they will probably just run on the field and attack you 1st base coach. Jeez. You have no idea what you are asking. White Sox fans are just criminal thugs.

October 6, 200322 yr Cmon guys lets keep it clean i knew a cubs fan would come and there would be problems
October 6, 200322 yr nah, Admin doesn't dump him. In fact one of our moderators, Rune, is a Phillies fan. Don't worry Runey, I still have that nice rendition of the Phillies logo ready to show ya next season :devil
October 6, 200322 yr Man, there are going to be so many brawls in the stands in PPS this weekend. People going to the game should do a blue-blackout. Don't wear teal: just silver and black. Or something like that because teal and blue are very different colors. Either way I will have my Sammy Sosa Cork shirt on with my Dontrelle jersey unbuttoned. Another Chicagoan Sox fan transformed Marlins fan. Nice suggestion of colors. For those of you going to the games, nothing pisses off Cubs fans more than Sox attire. So grab a black Sox hat, a Magglio jersey and win this series in the same manner the Sox won their 2003 regular season series over the cubs 4 games to two. And do us Sox fans a favor: After each game you win, rub it into their faces without mercy.
October 6, 200322 yr And do us Sox fans a favor: After each game you win, rub it into their faces without mercy. That's not our style, that's where you Sox fans come in. you do that to them. so we beat them on the field, you beat them off the field. :thumbup
October 6, 200322 yr The BREWERS? Lived about 2 miles from County Stadium/Miller Park for the past 4 years, so caught a fair number of games there. I said they were my favorite NL team, I didn't say I was a "fan" of them though
October 6, 200322 yr one of my favorite caps is a old school whitesox cap with the wool material. i got it at the Hall of Fame... never wear it though because i like the idea of keeping my hair

White Sox fans are just criminal thugs. As a Cub fan in Florida, the Cubbie-Kool-Aid-drinking national media must not have told you that the losers who rushed the field in April were all Flubs fans who, prior to the Sox-Royals night game, spent the day getting drunk at Wrigley.
October 6, 200322 yr :lol That myth is false. dude i aint taking my chances :o , that s*** is wool. i dont know, it scares me :confused . ill just keep it as a souveneir. besides its to hot down here to wear wool
