Uggla is back!

Knew I forgot something... Great to see Uggla hitting

Ryan Freel has to be tired with all that running around he did in the eighth inning.

Olsen looked a lot better.

Our 1-3 hitters were a combined 8-14 w/ 8 RBIs.

Hopefully this was the turnaround game for Uggla.

i finallly made it out to the stadium and was seated in the 7th inning.lol just got home now from the game. so i did miss alot but it was still great game.... alottttt of traffic in the stadium and streets surrounding it. looked like a decent crowd.

Was real positive to see Olsen throw a strong outing and to see the team enjoying themselves. That's always been a great thing about this young squad: their ability to really enjoy what they do. While as a fan it can get pretty dismal, they still show that positivity in their actions. Way to go Fish.

It was good to see the bats get going especially with Uggla and Olivo. Olsen should get suspended for two gamesbetween starts every turn in the rotation.

Wonderful game all around

Tons of balls crushed by the top of the order

Nice to see Scotty O respond well, he was great

Uggla looks like he's on his way back up, but he should still hit 5th thru 7th

And, most importantly, Admin Beinfest aka God was seated behind home plate and wearing a checkered green and white polo shirt tonight

Real solid effort by the whole team. We should suspend Scotty more often.

Oh, and from my vantage point, that ball wasn't catchable. Not to say he wouldn't have caught it, but in the spirit of the rule, I don't think we had Jeffrey Maier out there.

Thanks, I was staying up all night until I knew this. Now I can sleep.

The ball was in his mitt, Swifty.

Great call by the umps.

yep, if you watch it frame by frame, ball would have extremely likely been caught. Still a chance it might have popped out, but it was heading directly for his mitt.

great game by roly poly. it's not like he was facing the 1927 yankees but a well pitched game is a well pitched game.

Cabrera is on an absolute tear. On his current 10 game hit streak, he has a 1.06 SLG. That's SLG, not OPS. SLG. Again: SLG. 1.06 SLG. :notworthy

.412 BAA, .488 OBP, 1.548 OPS, 9 runs, 11 RBIs, 6 HRs, 6 1B, 3 2B, 8BB/5k.

jesus I just looked at his lefty splits: .408/.500/.859/1.359

might be the year he finally hits over 40 HRs.

Ridiculous :notworthy

Great stats Ensam.

Yeah Cabrera is just so sick. He's so good that sometimes I find myself taking him for granted. Everytime I look up he's smokin a ball into the gap or poking a ball over the 2nd basemen's head. Then he throws an absolute BOMB in there once in a while and it just makes you go "wow"

Its cool to know that were following a Hall of Famer from his beginning as he climbs his way up the ladder.

Great win on all fronts. Hopefully we can take some momentum from the game and keep playing well.

You have restraining order written all over you.

:lol

for whatever reason Olsen seems to come back pretty well after being disciplined. Hard to tell if that makes a difference or not, but maybe Freddi needs to make him go stand in the corner of the dugout after any inning he pouts in.

Anyway it was a real nice outing. Love to see Uggla slugging again.

And Miguel Cabrera must be stopped before he makes a mockery of this game.

Goodness all around last night. Scotty was pitching like he should, Dan Uggla was being Dan Uggla, and Cabrera stayed hawt. We also got a wonderful cameo homerun by Steve. Very worthwhile endeavor worthy of cake.
