FISH WIN AGAIN!

A solid performance by Nolasco and clutch hitting from Alfredo and Uggla!

His name is still..... DAN UGGLA!

The Bullpen pitched great for the second time in three games!

Hanley left the game early with right shoulder soreness, hopefully its nothing too serious.

The Fish are just half a game out of first place with the Phillies loss!

The Fish are now 6-0 when I start the game thread! :D

:gofish

Voted for the bullpen.

All I ask for is strikes, and they're doing it better lately.

Even Pinto threw strikes...

Throw strikes, and you get outs!

STRIKES!

Wooooooooooo.............

Really though, Danny with another clutch hit. Who's been the Team MVP this year? Hanley or Danny? I'd say Uggla...he's won about 4 or 5 games, like that, already.

Easy to overlook/take for granted Nolasco's nice outing, but his strong performance put us in position to win. With our offense, anytime we can get some pitching we are tough to beat.

I vote for cantu

Lots of heroes tonight... but I voted for the bullpen they have been awesome lately aside from the solo homers.

Great win, we are .5 out of first!!

Good game, another west-coast series win. Nice to be on the heels of the Phillies. Good to see Mr. Uggla with a big hit. Maybe this will get him out of his minor funk.

:gofishb

Nolasco is player of the game for keeping the game very close and winnable. That's what a good pitcher does. He didn't do that when he struggled earlier this year and last year.

Cantu looks like steal of the year. He's also not made an error in a while now. That's what his big problem was earlier.

And the bullpen has looked much better since Colorado fiasco.

Great win, as they all are!

I really am in comfort seeing how well the bullpen has pitched the last few games, Props.

We also have a sicc starting rotation set for the second half, should be fun!

LETS GET THE SWEEP TOMORROW!

:gofish

Noly did a great job of buckling down after that bad start.

Pinto did a good job of bucking down after his bad start.

Uggla is awesome.

Gregg needs 3 outs and he gets 4. Awesome.

Good things, all around.

Good win tonight. Now if only the Mets could stop winning.

And thank you Gregg for not blowing it.

He didn't just not blow it, he super saved it!

Can anyone provide any insight into the Mets recent surge? I read on ESPN that Manuel has created a more relaxed atmosphere and told the team to have fun, but they seem to have a pep in their step. Any thoughts....

yay!! our starters keep on mowing 'em down!! lets see if miller can keep the streak going and get us the sweep. Superman is back!! GO FISH!!

First team to allow less than 3 hits in 5 straight games.

Frankly I think it is a total fluke. I think they are one bump-in-the-road away from completely falling apart all over again.
