But you have to know that Dunn is 100% to improve this team by a good margin. We might not go after him to save money, but all other things being equal, he'd be a ridiculously good addition.

I agree, though I just dont think signing really... anyone is realistic right now, other than our own players. So what Im saying is I would really rather just go with what we have and not plan on anything other than that.

Where are you getting them from? Fangraphs. And what you're not understand about what I'm saying is that there is a learning curve for playing a new position. Playing RF is not the same as playing LF. Do not take into context his RF playing time last season. Just look at his career LF numbers. That's what matters.

Cody Ross Career UZR: LF: + .02 in 306 innings CF: + 6.4 in 1250 innings RF: + 2.0 in 596 innings Judging by his excellent +6.4 career UZR in CF, one can safely assume he'll excel in LF where much less range is required to be outstanding there.

No long term commitment of cash, he's in here to help this team boost to the post-season, and next year he's gone with Logan Morrison to fill in the big shoes.

Left handed power hitters work so well at Dolphins Stadium. Good idea! If there is any left-handed power hitter in the last decade that would see zero decline in Dolphin Stadium, it's Adam Dunn.

Part of me wants his bat and his OBP so I'm conflicted but in the end in my mind passing on both won't make the difference between making the playoffs or not.

Im all for getting Dunn for a year. Stick him in left and dont trade anybody, just sit one of the other three (who ever has the worse spring i guess) Adam Dunn hits like a beast. he is worth the 7 mil or whatever. he can help for the playoff push. do it please!!!!!!!!!!!!! i would freakin flip if Dunn came to Miami.

I agree with passing on Abreu as well, although I wouldn't say I'm confident that Hermida will outproduce him......still, Dunn will absolutely change this team a good bit. Sure, his defense is poor, but he wouldn't be that debilitating at first base (according to what others have reported his numbers say), and he would be replacing Gaby in the potential lineup. That's a MASSIVE upgrade.
