No life, they are boring to watch, they arent fun and exciting anymore cause they seem to have zero energy. The youthful spark that this team has had even when they were losing is gone. I never feel like we are ever gonna come back. Last year it was, hold on and they have a good chance to fight back. Not anymore, when Hammer cleared the bases in this one, I just felt like that was the third out in the bottom of the ninth. We lost right there and I never felt we had a chance to come back. In a way, I smelled it coming when we let Strasburg off the hook in the first. This is bad. Why wait ten games, sell this crap off cause I'm so tired of watching it with zero rewards. We're done.

That lineup shuffle worked wonders.

Wait there was a lineup shuffle?

Overall, bullpen was ok..Conine did a pretty good job at announcing...wow that's about all the pluses I saw tonight sadly. This team needs to wake up or something

I think it'd be more enjoyable watching zombies play baseball...ok nobody take that idea! I hear hollywood knocking on my door

Frank just said Ricky made mistakes and was struggling. Thats horsecrap... he had one bad inning... this is the Major Leagues, I'm not surprised that the Nats put up a 4 spot... the BIGGER problem is that the Marlins score NOTHING behind Ricky. If the Marlins are a Major League team they should see a 4 spot by the opposition and think, yea we can match that. But of course, this is the Marlins in 2010... and they suck.

- Bullpen makeups are better than Fredi' era.

- Whatever we gonna buyer or seller in this season, we must be trade Jorge Cantu, as soon as possble.

- 10-game homestand for final decision, starts with shutouted. Close to white flag, officially.

What gets me is that they DO have the ability to be a good team. Coghlan, Gaby, Hanley, Uggla, ..even Stanton if he can actually start adjusting already...yet they can't get runs and at times they look like they just give up. I don't get it really and it's frustrating to watch.

Now c'mon tomorrow we have Josh on the mound. This game was nothing, the 2nd season starts tomorrow ! :thumbup

I wish the Marlins had more pitchers like JJ. Because, yeah, we can say "well at least we can look forward to when JJ pitches...". I remember a time when the Marlins had a lot of great pitchers where everyday you felt confident we had a chance. Not to say that we don't get some good pitching now. Ricky had one bad inning, otherwise he did pretty good. And yeah, it's the hitting that's the problem..but then again we were up against the Nats "phenom" soooooo

I don't know if I agree about selling yet but the date is fast approaching. I keep saying this that I don't understand why they are so much different than last year. There has only been 1 player changed yet they don't seem to have the heart to play like they did last year. I agree there is no spark, they play flat compared to last year. Its as if they are giving up. But at the moment the FO hasn't because they know the importance of building steam in this year going into next year and then opening the stadium the year after. They may do some tweeking yet to try to jump start it. But I don't think the FO can even put the finger on what is wrong. Could there be something going on in the clubhouse which hasn't been leaked? Did Loria's bling gift to Hanley cause friction/prima dona attitude which the other players can't recover from? There are several players who all came up together back in 06. Do they feel they are being overlooked/underappreciated for what they do? This is a team event.

I was hoping Fredi's firing would do it like how everything broke loose when Trader Jack came in. But that was with a lot of veteran players then when it happened although the young uns came up later in the year. Was the firing just too hard on the team this year??

Anybody a psychiatrist/psychologist here? How about a tarot card reader??? :whistle

Didn't realize this, they are 8-11 under E-Rod. Not a good sign, but tomorrow JJ is gonna take this team on his back and ride it all the way to a shutout win of his own. :thumbup

This team is quite unenjoyable to watch, to be honest. It's coming to the point where I'm actually getting excited to see what deals they make as opposed to anticipating the next game. JJ is the one plus of the season thus far.

So you all think this team will be a completely different team by 2012 when we get into our new stadium. I would hope a better team if they hope to..gasp..sell out at the new stadium

Like what? I wasnt as die hard as i am now so I have a vague memory of the torborg days... what broke loose when Jack was hired? Did something about the clubhouse leak or am I just reading too much into this?

It seem like this team just go out at the end to play spoiler, instead of making the playoff

Wrong. Spoiler teams are like the Nationals who have surprise talent and can beat you when you least expect it. We're more like Baltimore and Pittsburgh, teams that get STEPPED ON by teams trying to make a push. We only spoil our own games.

Frankly its looking more and more like they will be young and promising in 2012 a lot like 2006. With as much talent as they have coming up they need to get them up here, and acclimated and then use 2011 to get the young talent ready for 2012. Next year could be 60-70 wins but it might be necessary evil to get those young kids ready for the Big Show in 2012.

I didn't expect much of a win versus The Phenom.

This still is a series and we can definitely take the last two games, tomorrow we should tie the series and let's hope Sanabia can give us 5 or 6 solid inning or at least a Quality Start to give us a chance to win the game.

Not jumping on the seller wagon yet but we need to win the next 3 or 4 series if we want to stay in contention.
