h2r09
that is what i have been waiting for from west and most of our young pitchers. it seems like they come up here and struggle to get through 6 innings. ceda needs to be up now though. dim
Ceda needs more time. Remember, he just came back after being out for two years with an injury. We just saw this front office rush Jhan Marinez, a guy with VERY impressive numbers, to the majors. I'd like to see Ceda up with the major league squad next year opening day. However, based on the way this team has been run this year, I expect Ceda up at lastest as a September call up.
Schnellders
If Sanabia struggles tonight and fails to complete 5 or 6 innings then maybe we should give West a shot? I know Alejandro's ERA is nice just now in the low 2's but he was a bit fortunate last time out with all those baserunners he allowed. h2r09
I actually like Sanabia. At least he throws strikes. I would like west a whole lot more if he struck mroe guys out. I do think he will be in the rotation sooner rather than later though. we need a lefty.

dim
He just finished a college season less than a month ago where he had already pitched 109 innings. He shouldn't have a big workload this year. I'm a bit surprised they threw him straight into Greensboro, but they probably did it because of his experience at UCLA. If he's successful, he should probably rise up the minor league system quickly and be a LOOGY with this team by opening day 2012.

MrMarlinPride
RVH has been doing extremely well the past 2 weeks. West had a nice outing but seems to be able to hold teams under 3 runs. Ceda has done very well but I don't expect him to be in the MLB anytime before September so he isn't rushed from that injury and if anything then next year he'll be ready. If Sanabia struggles tonight then we should consider just using RVH or West as starters because unlike Sanabia they won't be on pitch limits and can try to help the bullpen out by going deeper into games or at least 6 innings. Then we could either just send down Sanabia to continue working as a starter and he can fight his way into the rotation next year or put him in the bullpen (which I don't want). Someone that has been impressing me or actually two players are Tom Koehler and Elih Villanueva. Both have been dealing in AA Jacksonville, I know who Elih is but who's this Koehler guy? He's only 24 and has had pretty good success in his minor league career. Is he part of the future and how did we get him? I'm guessing rule 5.
