I feel Gaby gets 2 or 3 Games, Volstad a game or 2, Edwin a game, Riggleman a game, Listash a game or 2 and Morgan season and put on trial by the MLB to be suspended for a month or two going into next season. Volstad will probably get 5 (a start) Gaby will probably get a couple. Honestly, I don't see why Riggleman or Listash get a suspension. Either way, who cares? The season is over, and it was great to see a retaliation after what happened last night. GABY! :notworthy Well usually when a brawl like that happens both teams Managers are suspended a game, ala Reds/Cards a couple of weeks ago. I doubt Volstad gets a full 5 games, maybe 4 at most but he shouldn't miss a start because of that.

I did, and I wouldn't mind him for the remainder of the season, he's a veteran, decent/below average bat probably a bit better then Davis and Hayes and he'll be cheep. Other F.A. options are Rabello and Lo Duca.

September 2, 201015 yr Honestly, if Morgan just stole second, I wouldn't be pissed off or think they should throw at him again. It would be enough for him to regain his "swagger." But the fact that he stole 3rd and then Murphy had to pay attention to him while going out for the fly ball, that pushed it over the line. The game was essentially meaningless at the time, so you gotta know that your actions are going to be more symbolic. Then charging the mound. He didn't take a few steps. He ran at full speed. ::shakes head::
September 2, 201015 yr Can't say I really agree with Conine here. For those of us without TV – what did he say? He basically said what Volstad did was wrong in throwin at him a second time. I feel he's purely saying this in his own opinion as a former MLB hitter that wouldn't want to be hit in that situation either. I both agree and disagree. Also on ESPN, Riggleman agrees with what Morgan did both stealing the bases and charging the mound... So now we look like the heels instead of Morgan? And yeah I heard Conine's comments...he does make some sense, but did you see Allison William's face while he was saying that? hehe
September 2, 201015 yr So what were Gaby's stats on the night, anyone know? Eh, who cares, HE KNOCKED MORGAN ON HIS ASS! That's better than a 6-6 3 HR 10 RBI day to me.
