Perhaps...but he doesn't have to be up here for the long haul. As it is, this guy was highly rated when he was drafted, and he seems to have talent, so I'd rather have a spot starter with talent than one with experience but no talent.

Can't imagine him going very deep into the game. A few innings out of him would be nice.

6 innings 3 runs or less, that is all I ask of you.

I realize we dont' want to rush Josh Johnson back, but man we realllllllly need him. I hated how Beinfest made it sound like we have all the time in the world.

Body reminds me of JJ????? Johnson is 6'7" and 250 or so. Hand is 6'3 (maybe) and 200.

I'm not in favor of the move just because Hand is still 21 years old and this won't be just "a spot start". The Marlins alluded that whoever was going to start Tuesday would be here for quite some time (aka more than just a start). Hand was considered a 2012/2013 guy, to give him the start Tuesday seems to me likes he's a bit rushed. I would've personally liked Vilanueva to get the start.

What does he throw? I've never seen him pitch, nor do I know much about him.
