September 29, 201114 yr Well, I'm hoping that things line up for a Brewers-Rays World Series. I don't like the Brewers. They're a cocky bunch; I hope Arizona sweeps them. Arizona's a better story, anyway. I'll give you that. They celebrated that division title like they won the World Series.

September 29, 201114 yr I would actually like a Brewers-Cardinals NLCS. And then the Cardinals sweep them, making Nyjer Morgan look like the dumbass he really is. He said the Cardinals were going to have to enjoy watching the Brew-Crew from their couch after that game when he threw his chew at Carpenter. In terms of entertainment, I think that would be the best NLCS possible. In the AL, Rays-Yankees would probably get the most ratings.
September 29, 201114 yr I just find the Rays and their fans kind of annoying ever since the summer of '08. Their fans were so much cooler when they lost. And let us not forget that we had pretty much a full house tonight... and they're in extra innings in a 1 game playoff race and people are walking out the door in a half full crowd. And we get sh*t for bad fans. Yeah, that was ridiculous. I don't know how they couldn't show up for this. I get that the stadium sucks but for THIS?! Come on. I just find the Rays and their fans kind of annoying ever since the summer of '08. Their fans were so much cooler when they lost. I bet a lot of people would say that about Red Sox after before 2004 too. I bet they were but I just about never interact with Red Sox fans. My college was at least 30 percent guys from New England, here in the middle of Florida. I do know a few genuine fans, but there were so many Bostononians who became fans not because they cared about baseball or anything, but because it was the popular thing to do in Boston. These guys who knew nothing about baseball always gloated about what their latest 50 million dollar star did while condemning the Yankees, with whom their operational methods had become indistinguishable.
