But apparently offense is more important. Gonzo was second in the voting wasn't he? Because you might as well have done so. I was a big supporter of Sea Bass while he was here, but there is really no comparison.

In two of those years, he played 7 different positions. The only other reasonable choices would be All-Time (who only PH), Alex Arias (who wasn't as flexible), and Mike Redmond (who obviously couldn't really PH).

And Mordecai was a worse hitter and worse defender and played fewer positions. You really should get over it. It's weird.

The reason he is up there in games was Fredi's infactuation with him in missusing him for the better parts of 2 seasons....To which we had the Worse CF in MLB.. In reality he was a good utility player who played an OK CF but dang was he overhyped and that is what bugs the crap outta me. We wouldn't know if anyone could do better because Fredi stiffled everyone else from even a chance of showing anything in that spot
