Pujols to Angels

Featured Replies

If neither Pujols or Fielder are signed we better get more than just Buehrle.

Still looking for that legit #2.

Green with envy, and money.

This. I will be disappointed if we just get Buehrle and call it an offseason.

Reyes and bell...f***ing miami sports fans.

.... It would be a disappointment considering how big of a situation this is if thats all we get, especially considering starting pitching was a big concern. I don't really understand why Bell was signed first either. Did we get a set of steel hamstrings with the Reyes signing as well?

Typical Miami sports fan.

More of a Marlins fan if anything, but yes. It's nice that we are finally spending money.

Fielder will end up getting more $/yr than Pujols. Much more competitive market. At least 5 teams (Nats, Rangers, Cubs, Angels, Brewers), if not more will be in on Fielder, there have really only really been 2-3 for Pujols all along.

Mariners are now front=runners on Fielder with Milw,Cubs & Tor all wanting shorter term deals....stay tuned

#rangers seem like threat to swoop in and win prince. Great team and park for him. Nolan ryan does not love ultra-long deals tho

Oh?

JCR hasn't tweeted in an hour.

He passed out in Clark Spencer's lap and they're having a Ross and Joey like nap.

WHAT?????? FIELDER????????????

Mariners, not Marlins.

f*** the Mariners. Why does their name have to resemble ours :(

Oh God no, another bat in Texas...

Was this supposed to show me that what I said isn't correct, because if so, it's doing the EXACT opposite

A lineup with Kinsler, Andrus, Hamilton, Prince, Cruz, Beltre, Napoli, Young... really Texas?

Eh... you were missing a few teams and the main one albeit according to twitter sources.

Home run record, anyone?

Kinsler can hit 30+, Andrus can pop out maybe 5, Hamilton through Beltre all have the ability to bop out 40, and Napoli just hit 30 last year, plus Young can still hit about 15-20... Good Lord.

Even if it's not with us, I really wish Pujols would hurry the f*** up already.

Yea ridiculous... probably best hitting lineup seen in a while, although it seems like Texas always has some big bats.

Lots of buzz in Dallas that the Pujols decision is shifting strongly in the #Cardinals direction.
