With the new name, uniform, ballpark, and hopefully some new great players, I expect an influx to the board. We've definitely already seen some of this already.

I think it would be cool to have a place where newbies can drop in and say hey.

So far I'm like 1/100 womp womp womp :(

I'm sanmarinoguido. My father and I have been season ticket holders since 2004, and we are Die-Hard Marlins Fan. My favorite moment was The Bartman game in 2003 and Game 6 of that year's world series. I was only 3 years old when we won it all the first time in 1997. Not crazy about the new uniforms, but i love the hats. I wish the marlins played a lil closer, since me and my father are coming down from Boca Raton, but hey can't complain because there's a plethora to do around the new ballpark and even though i'm italian, the spanish influence is gunna be awesome.

ASL everybody.

Back on here for first time in a couple years under new name. Looking forward to the new season. Marlins fan since I moved to FL from Ky back in 98. The new jerseys have grown on me a little but still not crazy about them or the hats. What we wear are least of my concerns though. Most importantly I want to be contenders again, it's been way too long. Usually hop across the Alley for 2-3 games every year at the old place. Can't wait to check out the new park this Spring.

I'll reintroduce myself. I'm Aimee. I was born in Miami but moved to Tallahassee when I was in Kindergarten. I am a UF alum (c/o '08) and Sarasota resident. I attended my first Marlins game (and MLB game) on a trip back to South Florida in June 1993, and it was love at Charlie Hough's first pitch. I live for baseball. Baseball is my husband. Guys think it's weird that I have this obsession with baseball. I love the new ballpark but I have mixed feelings about the logo and uniforms as well as pandering to the Latino base and seemingly alienating original Marlins fans like myself. But I digress.

I used to be a regular on this site but I felt bullied one night when I got home from work late (missed the end of a game) and people berated me because I thought the closer formerly known as Leo Nunez should have thrown more curveballs. Didn't like the negativity. We're all Marlins fans so the bickering annoys me. That being said, it's a new era so I am giving it another go. Please welcome me back with open arms.

This is probably the nicest forum on the internet. Ive rarely seen all out flaming. Everyone here has pretty strong opinions and they argue them. It almost never comes down to baseless insults. But i see what youre saying. Welcome back.

I take that as a compliment.

Marlins fan since 1997 . I now live in Pensacola fl and I try to go to as many marlins games as I can every year. I usually attend away games and have been to a few cities following the team.

Not crazy about that colorful logo but i will be a marlins fan regardless of what they wear.thanks for the welcoming .
