Billy's New Colors!

Featured Replies

A few have asked what the updated Billy The Marlin would look like and I can answer that question...

I'm an art teacher and every year the Marlins send all art teachers their holiday card contest so our students can help design the team's holiday card, and Billy is always a part of the contest's theme. A couple days ago I recieved this year's contest forms, etc... and its all updated to the Miami Marlins colors and Billy's cartoon image is on the form.

He's mostly blue, his bill remains black but looks to have an orange shine to it. His tail is a gradient that starts blue on the top then transitions to yellow and then orange, his lower body is blue but his upper legs have an orange part with a yellow accent to it. Of course he's wearing the new Miami home white jersey.

Its just the cartoon image, the actual Billy costume hasn't been seen yet but this is more than likely the way he'll look.

Here's a headshot image...

Nice

Where are all the people saying that Billy just came out of the closet and that little Billy found out that he was a victim of an experimental circumstance? I'm disappointed.

He looks great. My youngest grand daughter said she wants a new Billy the Marlin doll. He passes the test. ;)

A multi-colored fin is a bit much, but a little update isn't a bad thing. The changes made to Raymond were largely successful (until they changed the performer the next year).
