poptart
Was the on TV or online? Where can we see/read it? it was on ESPN First Take earlier. they didn't do a whole long prediction things, it was a more of a "who ya got" Skip had a Phillies/Marlins NLCS and a Rays/Yankees ALCS. that's about all the detail they went into i reckon
Fishes on the Pond
NL EAST The Miami Marlins are all dressed up, looking for somewhere to go in 2012. With a new name (Miami instead of Florida), new uniforms and a new stadium, Marlins ownership opened the checkbook and increased the payroll from $61.9 million to a club-record $93 million-plus. With a season-ticket base that has hit 15,000, the Marlins hired manager Ozzie Guillen away from the Chicago White Sox, where his relationship with general manager Kenny Williams was marginal at best, and signed three free agents: shortstop Jose Reyes, left-handed starter Mark Buehrle and closer Heath Bell. Can the Marlins buy happiness? Maybe, but if so, it will only be because the Philadelphia Phillies can't cope with the extended absence of first baseman Ryan Howard (broken ankle) and second baseman Chase Utley (sore knees), their 3-4 hitters in the lineup. The Phillies, however, are built around pitching, and that's still sound. NL East forecast: Philadelphia, Miami, Washington, Atlanta, New York Mets. poptart
Vegas has the Phillies at 11/2 for the World Series (overall favorites), and the Marlins at 22/1 (tied with the Braves and Reds). Nats at 30/1. to win the NL East: Phillies: 5/7 Marlins: 9/2 Braves: 9/2 Nats: 6/1 Mets: 40/

Old Timer
according to The Onion, the Mets are questionable for Opening Day Hahahaha.Another season preview, I think either Kurkijan or Stark, has us 2nd place in the East and Wildcard team. Yes earlier today both Tim Kurkjian and Doug Glanville said the Marlins are their WC teams, but Tim K put a caveat in there that if the Marlins stay healthy (especially JJ) and Philly's injury problems continue to plague their offense the Marlins could be the team to beat. However Tim K said he thinks the D'Backs are the best looking NL team he saw this Spring and expects them to do great things this year. (sarcasm on) But wait a minute that is New York, they ALWAYS are the best fans, and ALWAYS support their teams with full stadiums and are the bestest, most greatestest wonderfulestest, fans in the world who are definitely the most knowledgeable fans ever that have graced the face of the Earth.
