I voted Infante. Just from the sound of the bat hitting the ball you KNEW it was a Home run... and if it was another 6 inches higher it would have made it into the second deck.

I voted for Omar because he is often not noticed for anything more than his defense until he gets the hard part of the cycle.

 

Nolasco a strong number 3 as usual, glad we kept this guy around even though he still has off days.

I won't vote for a FOTG, there were way too many good performances tonight to pick one. Infante was awesome, Stanton had 3 key hits, Ramirez had two clutch hits (keep proving me wrong Hanley!), Boni was a catalyst, and Ricky showed once again why he can turn moderate peripherals into wins (pitch efficiency & command).

I'm higher on Nolasco than most, but I don't think he's definitely better than Zambrano.

Nice win tonight but hopefully ricky can prevent the long ball a little more.

I think at best he's the 4th best. He's not even close to being on the same level as Buehrle or Anibal. At this point Nolasco/Zambrano are close although Zambrano has obviously had the better career.

Yeah, I guess I should have said "ERA". It's the recently talked about phenomenon of him having several awful starts that blow up his ERA, but being good enough in the others to be a winning pitcher.

 

What impressed me most were the multiple single digit pitch innings. I wish JJ could learn that type of pitch efficiency because that's whats really held him back from being a truly dominant pitcher (when healthy).
