Hayes has his moments, but I'm not sure he can play every day. He looked pretty awful recently when Ozzie put him for the second game in a row. Could have been just an off day for him, but it didn't look promising. Mind you if Buck continues to struggle this badly, Hayes will get his chance.

This FO likes to go after players after they have career years, I just hope it pays off especially when regarding Reyes, although I liked that signing.

Yea, Reyes has been decent most of his career, but most people consider last year his "career" year or an outstanding year, and I only bring that up because the Marlins FO signed Buck after his "career" year.

 

Hayes has shown improvement, he's been playing better why not give him a full month of at bats before we assume he can't have a long stretch of success.

 

It's better than what Buck gives us which is a hit in the 8th inning every 2nd game.

Hayes has had some really bad moments defensively....I'd hesitate to put him out there every day
