Highly doubtful they would want Ricky. Especially after this past start. They want jj...sidenote: this is my 1,000 career post, it's been a pleasure gents!

Olt has also been playing 1B & OF for the past month ... they know he's blocked at 3B, but are looking at ways they can get him in the majors

 

However, for a top of the line starter it also makes it a bit easier to move a blocked prospect regardless of how creative you have been in trying to find him a home

Cant we just trade Nolasco for some minors and pay a decent portion of his salary to get something back from him (besides just to dump salary). The Hanley trade was to dump salary. We cant just do everything looking to save money (look at the facking hr sculpture, that was not to save money, oh yea loria didnt pay for it). Also we should just cut Bell. Pay his salary so he can go back to SD and eat. Its time loria pay his share of the mess he created.

Sounds like the "Texiera deal" the Marlins would be asking for.

On second thought, that deal some what strikes me as fair and could ultimately benefit us so much in the long run. If we can actually get these prospects than by all means trade JJ.
