Harold Reynolds needs to learn our team too.

Some like him but I'm completely over the Gaby Sanchez experience.

I still have love for Coghlan and LoMo though.

seems like he has some of the same questions as Dominguez - ability to hit at the major league level ...... from what I can read he has been trying to transition from a guy who tried to muscle fly balls to a guy who can be a well rounded hitter - with mixed results ..... hopefully he can adjust and progress, but he's far from a sure thing to be on a regular MLB roster at 3B

 

also, there are questions about if he has good enough range to be a 3B or even a 2B ..... that and the Cardinals are getting decent production out of Matt Carpenter

 

I can see why they moved him

 

Also think it's a good move for the marlins given that it involved Mujica

 

Overall, I feel better about the potential for Cox than I did for Dominguez at 3B - even if there are a ton of questions with Cox

Originally a pretty good prospect but has faltered so far this year, let's see what he can do. We didn't give up that much, but he'll at worst give us what Hanley was giving us, less power a little more hitting.

Yea, except we're not paying Cox 16M... Regardless, I don't think he's ready. As far as I'm concerned we still have a hole at 3B opening 2013. But Zack Cox is a better prospect to develop and have waiting in the wings for 3B than Matt Dominguez was.

I can't blame the Rangers for not wanting to give up their 3 best prospects for him.
