dim
I seem to have terrible luck when it comes to getting jerseys. Over the years, I have bought Shaq jersey (two years later got traded) Miguel Cabrera (two years later traded) Andrew Miller t shirt H2R (two years later traded) Ricky Williams (retired a year later) Jason Taylor (traded that year) Zach Thomas (traded to Cowboys two years later) Ronnie Brown Chad Henne Brandon Marshall Daunte Culpepper There's a few more, but I can't think of them currently. Totally irrelevent thread, I just found this funny. Only shirts/jerseys I have ever bought in my life and those players are still on the team are LBJ and D-Wade. Every Marlins or Dolphins I have ever had left the team within two years of me buying their jerseys.
AeroFishOne
Eh, sh*t happens. Ive had that happen frequently with Uggla and Cantu. Just the price of doing business in a previously small payroll team.
Dr Beinfest
No, 7/11 of those are Miami Dolphins. The MIami Dolphins are awful. We got what we wanted out of Shaq. I guess that just leaves Miggy, Miller, and Hanley. You curse the Marlins.
Entendu
You should buy a Reyes or Stanton jersey.
Admin
Get a Wayne Rosenthal shirt, mine is nearing a decade and is still useful.

dim
No Andino jerseys? After a while, I didn't want to take any chances that it might ruin him. Good thing he's still the best!
AeroFishOne
If it says anything, I have a 98 game used Vic Darrensbourg jersey. I also have a team issued Maybin that I got a month or two before he was traded. Got a john baker Game worn Los Marlins jersey right before he got traded. Admin
Canes, apparently if you get a game issued jersey... the player is doomed.
AeroFishOne
I'm guessing so, I got a couple blank game issueds so I wonder how that would work if I put someone's name on it.
Admin
Just don't put Stanton's name on it.

I thought about Bell at the beginning of the year but he played his way off a jersey. Zambrano is working on being next.
AeroFishOne
I don't see much of a coincidence at all in buying a player's jersey and seeing him traded 2 years later. In baseball in general lately it's pretty uncommon to see star players remain on a single team for their whole career. Players don't necessarily move around every two years, but two years is still far too long to be considered bad luck. That's why I would never buy an authentic player jersey. If I bought a Hanley jersey in 2009, I'd now be asking myself "I spent $300 dollars on that?" I bet there's a TON of Cardinals fans who own Pujols jersey and have little desire to wear or even look at them now. The lesson to learn here is to never become too attached to individual players. I have never payed full retail for a jersey even the new Marlins ones. I always wait for a sale and most I get on eBay for 30-50 dollars. And no they aren't those fake dog sh*t looking scrubs before anyone asks.

Schnellders
2 weeks ago I ordered the authentic black Marlins jersey which just arrived from the States a couple of days ago. I was between Hanley and Reyes for the name on the back. I chose Reyes. Phew!

MiRi
I refuse to buy a jersey with a name on the back for that reason alone. I stick to the shirts.
Fish4Life
I have 2 Authentic jerseys I paid nearly 200 each for. Orange one and the Black Florida Marlins one. BOTH have.... No names on the back! BTW you can get a Hanley Authentic Miami Marlins Jersey which is normally 269.99 on eBay for a cool 25 bucks now.

I have that one, and don't regret getting it for a second. Miguel Cabrera: Big part of the 2003 championship, and will likely be a hall of famer. Also have it, and don't regret it. Andrew Miller: Not a jersey H2R: Could be worse Jason Taylor: An all-time great dolphin, and will likely be in the hall of fame. Again, could be worse. Zach Thomas: Another all-time great dolphin, and forever loved by Dolphin fans. Have one autographed. Only thing I regret about it is getting it autographed cuz now I can't wear it. Ronnie Brown: Had a few good years, fans won't forget the Wild-Cat in 2008. Chad Henne: Made that same mistake, wanna set that thing on fire. Brandon Marshall: Could be worse Daunte Culpepper: See Chad Henne.
