November 20, 201213 yr How much extra money does Pierre earn if he leads the league in heart? He might actually lead the league in heart, so that wasn't part of the contract. He does however get a 45 dollar giftcard to Chili's if he leads the league in home runs.
November 21, 201213 yr Although this was a clear suckup signing by the Marlins, I like it. Juan Pierre will be a good example both on and off the field for the younger Marlins. Oh, and he can still play, so he will be the team MVP runner up to Stanton in 2013.
