March 6, 201313 yr I still think there's a medical/trainer/conditioning problem. Polanco and ruggiano have strained backs, LoMo won't be ready in time for the start. Anyone still on the medical/trainer staff needs the boot boat? There seem to be weir ass problems all over. Broken collarbones, Stanton getting brained, cutting fingers on pitching machines. A look through google news feeds even reveals that one of our minor leaguers is on a 50 game suspension for refusing to test for drugs, and another just went to jail for domestic disturbances! THE FUCK IS GOING ON! It's like a circus. Like there's no vision or standards or plan or anything.
March 6, 201313 yr The entire team is competing for a job, and competing hard.... they all know they can be cut or sent to the Minors at a moments notice...so they are pushing themselves harder and sooner causing all the injuries. The Minor League refusing to take the offseason piss test is probably a case of him missing it and being considered insubordinate, and the minor leaguer who went batshit on his girlfriend for cheating had every right to try to throw her out on her ass....where he screwed up was touching her. He should have called the cops and had her removed. She doesn't care about pressing charges or about him after what she did, he shouldn't either.
March 6, 201313 yr LoMo has had recurring knee problems, and Ruggiano and Polanco having back strains is not really anyone's fault, just some bad luck I'd say. They'll be fine.
March 6, 201313 yr Random events like a teammate's unintentionally mis-thrown fastball, a freak foul-tip, a cut finger while trying to avoid tipping over a pitching machine, minor injuries to guys with previous histories of those same injuries, a rehab that is a few weeks behind plan and the idiocy of young, minor league players are evidence of FO or medical staff incompetence and they should all be fired? :lol We realize that you hate Loria. Please beat another, preferably live, horse.

March 6, 201313 yr Is this a real thread? It's spring training, every team has their minor bumps and bruises at this point. Check every other teams website. Based on past medical issues, I can see you questioning the training staff and so on but there's nothing to worry about here. Many teams have worse injuries now, we're fine.

Like the Yankees. 200MM Payroll, and they go to CHI for care. http://www.chisouthfl.org/
March 6, 201313 yr Are we the only team with injuries? Yes. We're also the only team to ever trade at least one star player.
March 7, 201313 yr I also saw somewhere (twitter maybe?) that silverio had been shut down because of his arm. Apparently even hitting has been bothering it.
March 7, 201313 yr Author This isn't a thread about hating Loria, Satans own spawn, I'm just sayin it looks like god damn amateur night
