fangraphs article mentioned something I was thinking watching the game last night. I'm no particular fan of bunting, but I would've been interesting to see what happened had the A's tried to lay some bunts down the 3B line. As much as Cabrera was hobbled, those might be automatic hits. Nobody was hitting Verlander anyway, worth a shot.
