2014 Home Uniform Schedule

Featured Replies

Start a new trend.

Orange hats, orange jerseys, orange pants, orange shoes, orange gloves.

Add orange bats, orange batting helmets and orange batting gloves. Maybe orange sunflower seeds. Paint the bench orange. Orange rosin bag. Orange bases. Could you get away with orange baseballs? Go all out, all MLB can do is say no.

Give the media something else to whine about.

In all seriousness, orange is their best looking stuff. They should use it more often. Perhaps not to the extent I suggest.

They should wear the uniforms from last night, every game until they lose without washing!!!

Do that for every win streak, also helps cheap team save on laundry expenses

Actually, that might work. Like a white out they have at NBA playoff games. Ask the fans to wear orange too. Yeah, that might work for a couple of games a season.

WTF happened to staying with this schedule?

Am I wrong or did they wear the BP hats on Friday and Saturday, no orange hat?

I know it's a small thing, but it just reinforces the fact that you can't believe anything this FO says.

or maybe the fan site that leaked news about the uniform schedule, something no one else got a heads up about, might have been wrong

Also I doubt the front office cares what they wear. That original schedule was probably something that a handful of players and the equipment people worked up as a loose guideline. There's too many more important things for everyone to worry about.

With that said, I hate the BP cap being used with anything beyond the BP jersey. I could tolerate it with the black jerseys possibly even with the orange ones if they ever wanna try that but with the home whites it's really awkward looking. The home whites should only be worn with a solid color cap whether it's the black or the orange.

I would think they would want to optimize what they wear as it relates to [promoting] merchandise sales. I highly doubt these decisions are willy-nilly, as least with most organizations.

I'm pretty sure they talked about it during a TV broadcast.

Well yeah but I doubt they're so precise with it. Like if the Marlins didn't wear the orange caps this past Friday I doubt the FO would demand they wear it on Saturday. It's gotta be a loosely followed guideline is all I'm saying.

I noticed it to. I find it quite annoying actually and would like to see them stick to the schedule. I dont recall any other teams doing this.

I mean we dont even wear the fucking grey jersey which every other team wears. You may not like it, fine, so then update it.

Actually if the FO had any serious say in it then it's shocking that they'd never wear the grays because since they obviously designed it or approved it's design then they should insist that it be worn. Who made the decision to totally not wear the grays? If it was a decision made because it wasn't liked much that's a little strange.

Are you familiar with all the other teams' uniform schedules and actual choices? You're so strange sometimes.

We will see the Grey Jersey this year, and it will be worn with a special patch----

I guarantee it!

That's true I thought of this earlier... Jose will be wearing it when he starts the All Star Game in Minnesota.
