Cishek needs to slam to door here!

Yeah, I know cishek is religious. I follow him on twitter. So I imagined he did. Or maybe I just forgot if he prayed, I mean I do watch the videos on the site on occasion

After throwing his warm up pitches, Cishek pulls out a prayer from his back pocket, goes to the back of the mound, puts his head down and reads it before going back on the rubber. His routine is longer than most so I notice it every time.... Like right now.

The Real Hech is back!

Lots of Hech hatred. Much of it justified, I agree. He has gotten better this year though. I also remember how much hate there was for Bonifacio his first two years. But he did improve. Hopefully Hech will too.

It's cool to actually see the game. And seeing Dunn pray. But I remember a closer that used to pray a lot who had a four letter last name beginning with B and end with ell. That name should be censored.

And Taylor Tankersley was really bad too.

For whatever it's worth, as much as all those guys sucked, Julio has to be the worst cuz I don't think he had a single good outing, his numbers must have been atrocious. All the others had their moments and Bell even had a few saves. I remember being at one against Colorado where he had someone at third with one or maybe zero outs and got out of it brilliantly.

Hey guys, can we stop talking about all of our terrible relievers while we have a good one on the mound?

Hope I'm not speaking too soon but I love how whenever Cishek gets himself into trouble it's likely he quickly goes "ahh f*** that, I got this!" And like two pitches later he's nasty again. It's that ability to prevent damage that the rest of our pen has lacked this year.

Awesome! Tomorrow almost feels like a must win just to wash the taste out of my mouth of the Cubs playing us like they're a first place team. Taking this series would end that silliness.
