August 9, 201412 yr Is it wrong that I have more faith in Brad Penny being a success than Marmol, Rodriguez, Gregg, Tejada, Furcal, and Wolf combined? Well, at least for a couple starts. If he has 2-3 good starts right away, he'll have exceeded most of our expectations.

There are more players who left the organization and returned most didn't fair as well the second go round (with the exception of Niner), this includes more recent returnees like Gregg, Pierre and Olivo ! There's always that nostalgia to bring this guy or that guy back but most don't work out.
