Stanton falls to 4th in ASG voting

Travesty. Manfred better start considering changing the voting process. It's clearly a problem, and yes I understand Aoki is having a good season.

[You get the idea]

Fans should not vote for the all star game. Most fans are homers (nothing wrong with that) and they are too emotionally vested into their team to vote based on merit.  Also, with all of the technology today I wouldn't be surprised to find out that some nerdy tech guy has created a voting algorithm to help his favorite players get selected.

To be honest, I'm kinda more pissed that Matt Holiday is pretty much guaranteed a spot at this point. He's second in the voting by a good margin in both directions.

Mostly pissed because of this fact:

Stanton HR: 23

Holliday RBI: 26

All you need to have is 2 email accounts. Vote 35 times with 1, then 35 with the other. Then go back with the first one, then repeat the same process... There's really no limits, we can vote all we want. Lets make G a starter guys, lets go!

Not sure how you could fix the voting process

if you leave it up to the players, biases will also be present, just not as exaggerated as fan voting.

Once we get closer to the all star game Stanton will end up winning. I'm not worried. People love stanton

Wong will have a higher .WAR at the break than Gordon.

I'll bet 10 bucks on it (unlike Wild Card I'll pay in the unlikely event I'm wrong).

Wong and Panik should represent the NL at 2b anyway.

It's possible, but not guaranteed.

The point is, if you were casting a ballot today, Gordon is the clear case for number one.
